Ch 65 – The Thing

As soon as they entered the room, they saw various rows of chairs where they will sit on as at the front of the room sat a man holding their test papers as all of them lined up to take the test papers one by one and took their respective seats.

"Start" said by the examiner as he went and started the timer with them now starting the difficult test.

'What place should I go for? First? It would make Operation Seer happen faster but it would potentially bring some risk from the villains who would plan to kill me before I mature into a flower. Hmm, I should go for third, or fourth. But the speed force reveal should be enough for the potential seers to target me, then I can go boom, or maybe...' thought by Dahsoo as he decided on what to do and started to calculate what score he should go for and found the perfect middle point for the third highest in the written exam which is still perfect but just make it look like he had a harder time compared to the first and second.

He then started to answer the questions in a steady pace as expected of someone of his caliber and manipulated his body around so that it seems he also encounters some difficulty that he also solves.

And finally, after a while he submitted his test paper after 5 other students submitted as JInah sent a thumbs up towards him with a smile as he neared her and went to high five with her and waited outside for her to finish as he inspected the other students.

'Hmm, some are exceptional like that blond haired kid with a sword in his waist, he probably has a sword or weapon related quirk, also that kid over there, they're probably gonna be assigned to Class 1A' thought by Dahsoo as he minded his own business and after a while, Jinah finally came out of the room with a smile.

"That's quite fast" said by Dahsoo with a smile as he leaned on the wall.

"Of course, I'm the fastest one around" said by Jinah with a confident smile as she stood besides Dahsoo and waited for everyone to finish and made some small talks to each other.

"So, you said you're gonna fulfill the hopes and dreams of anime fans out there, and how will you do that? Hmmm" ask by Jinah with an amuse smile as Dahsoo look around warily and once he finally deduces that it was safe, he looks at Jinah with a "quiet" face.

"You know that I have a hobby of making stuff right?" ask by Dahsoo.

"Yeah?" ask by Jinah.

"Well I accidentally made something that is very cool and would use it for the practical exam, but I can let you see it" said by Dahsoo as he pointed at the modified web shooters on his waist.

"Well, what is it?" ask by Jinah.

"It's a surprise, just wait for the practical exam" said by Dahsoo as Jinah sighed and just talk about other stuff until they heard a ringing sound and groans and sighs came from the examining room as the man's voice was heard.

"The timer is up, hand over your papers and wait outside with the other examinees" said by the examiner as footsteps and chairs moving was heard inside the room with hordes of people walking out of the room along with the other rooms as they all stood in a line and finally, an examiner entered the long hallway where they reside and made them follow him outside the building.

"Take a short rest for now at this field, you can take some free snacks here and you can enjoy your rest to put yourself at peak condition before the practical exam starts" said by the examiner as the examinees cheered and look at the free snacks which include a banana, some egg sandwich, and other nutritious stuff like a protein bar as they all took their share which was one each and sat down on the grassy field and started to talk with each other.

"The school is really nice! They gave us free food" said by Jinah with a large smile as they sat down with each other on the grass.

"Yeah, it really makes the students relax for the next exam, but now that were here I can give you a hint for what the "fulfill the hopes and dreams of anime fans" is, look at this" said by Dahsoo as Jinah was intrigued and neared her head to his waist and saw the web shooter more carefully.

"Is that a gun?" ask by Jinah in confusion.

"Kinda, it basically shoots a gooey like substance that will harden and retract back like a rope into this thing right here, you just gotta watch how cool it will be after I finally achieved a new application with my quirk" said by Dahsoo as Jinah became more intrigued.

"Another way to use your electricity?" ask by Jinah with an amuse tone.

"I can't show it quite yet, just wait for the practical exam" said by Dahsoo.

"Argh! Another "wait for the practical exam"! If the thing is not cool then you would need to give me free food this night" said by Jinah.

"Okay, you could even visit my own house" said by Dahsoo as Jinah became surprise.

"Your own house, I can visit it?" ask by JInah.

"Yeah, I could even cook you a treat with my special steak" said by Dahsoo.

'Gasp! The A5 wagyu steak!' thought by Jinah.

"Sure! Don't back down on your promise okay!" said by Jinah with shining eyes.

"I promise, let's eat already when the drinks are still cold" said by Dahsoo as they snack on their snacks and just enjoyed their rest to go back to their peak condition as their minds and body fully rested for the practical exam.

"Okay, another hint for what it is" said by Dahsoo suddenly as Jinah once again became curious.

"Its this" said by Dahsoo as a lightning sword appeared on both of his hands as Jinah just raise her eyebrow more.

"A sword, a metallic gooey substance that will retract, you need a city for it to work, its on the waist, wait… don't tell me!" said by Jinah in shock.

"Yep, I made the thing!" said by Dahsoo as a metallic rope shot out of the gun from his waist that stick to a tree as Jinah became shock.

"You really did make it!" said by Jinah in shock as she watch the rope retract to his waist.

"Told you it would be cool when I do it" said by Dahsoo with a smirk.

"Can you give me one?" ask by Jinah with puppy dog eyes.

"It only works with me, my electricity can somehow interact with the substance to do the reaction. And from my estimates it would take years before anyone else can do this without my quirk, and it would be drastically inefficient" said by Dahsoo as Jinah sighed and just talk about other stuff until the examiner came back as finally, their practical exam is about to start.

AN: What do you guys think it would be? But yes, the thing he made was also shown on stream for some big brain stuff like alibis and bullshit reasons that I won't explain but just know that what he does on stream is also important.
