Why can't i forget her?!

One year later

The weather was beautiful as the birds were chirping. A cool breeze was flowing as it was spring now. Everyone waking up and starting the day with a new goal. The road was quite empty as it was just 8 : 10 in the morning.

The room was a really organized, his mother organized it first thing in the morning. There was a person under the blanket sleeping peacefully, such a cozy life.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Well, his peaceful sleep didn't last long as the stupid alarm started beeping. When the annoying sound reached his ears, his eyes flung open and he fell off the bed.

Thud.

The sound of him falling on the floor could be heard. He cursed under his breath.

"Shit.."

What a way to start a day. (i just rhymed.)

"Li an! Are you alright? I heard a noise-" his mother asked in worry from downstairs as he replied,

"I'm fine mum!" He hold the bed for support so he can get up. After he got up he went to the bathroom with a towel, to take a shower.

He stripped off his clothes and turned on the shower. When the hot water touched his body, he unconciously smiled at the warm feeling. He took his shampoo and poured it in one of his hands, and put it on his hair. He gently rubbed and stroked his hair with the shampoo. After a whole minute the hot water turned into cold water.

"Ahh! What the heck-" he moved away from the shower as it just turned cold.

"Dont tell me.."

He got out of the shower and opened the bathroom door a bit, then peaked through the bathroom door to look outside, then he called his mother.

"Mum!" A few seconds later his mother replied,

"Yeah son?"

"Mum where did the hot water go? Didn't you pay?"

"Oh about that- um son i haven't paid it yet but i will tomorrow when i get my salary!"

"Oh. Its okay mum!" Then he went back into the shower and turned the shower back on. And the cold water fell on his body, at first he flinched at the cold sensation but then it became normal so he took shower with cold water. After taking a shower, he came outside wearing a towel around his waist.

He opened his drawers to find some clothes to wear today for university. He found a black turtle neck and denim jeans. He wore his outfit then took his bagpack and went downstairs.

"Mum, I'm leaving!"

His mother peaked her head out of the kitchen and furrowed her eyebrows as she said,

"Young man, where are you going without doing your breakfast?"

He stopped and turned back to looked at his mother came out of the kitchen.

"Mum, I am kind of late so I will eat later at the cafeteria-" before he could finish she spoke,

"At least go while eating this granola bar?" She reached for his right hand and placed a granola bar in his hand.

He took at it and thanked her before leaving.

10: 45 a m

The professor went outside for something important, and now the whole class was chattering, gossiping, and shouting at eachother like hooligans. Meanwhile Li an was fiddling with his fingers as he was looking outside the window.

"Li an? You there?"

When he was lost in his thoughts, since li an is an introvert, his only friend Zoe spoke suddenly making him flinch a little. Zoe wasn't a close friend but she still was a friend and nothing more than that.

Li an cleared his throat as he looked at her and replied,

"Um yes, i was just a little lost.."

"What we're you thinking about?"

"..nothing." he replied nervously. Li an was thinking about non other than the lady from the convenience store. He couldn't forget her that easily. After all it was a bit creepy, a woman appears with blood on her hands and her dry lips, saying that it isn't her own blood. It's weird. And then she  leaves as if nothing happened. It was hard forgetting her. He felt like he was a protagonist in a thriller movie.

So he was thinking about her.

'Why can't i forget her?!' He thought to himself.

But then Zoe saw his nervous voice so she spoke again, "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah everything is fine.. what could go wrong." He replied hurriedly and looked the other way. And Zoe saw that. Zoe looked at him blankly for a while, so he looked back at her.

"Wait....you met a girl didn't you?!" She whispered yelled at him making this face ':O'

Li an's eyes went wide as he was now choking on empty air. He coughed as he spoke,

"What-?! No! I wasn't-" he whisper-yelled back at her.

"You sure?~" she asked while wiggling her eyebrows.

"I was just thinking of sir- i mean memorising sir's lectures he gave before leaving!"

"Seriously..?"

"Yes!"

"Fine, as you say." She made a disappointed face then looked at the board. What did she expected? An aloof guy like Li an Chen will like a girl? Ya, right. Li an looked at the board too when the professor entered the class.

"I'm back students." The professor said with a bored tone as he entered. Then he started explaining maths problems on the huge board. All the students were half dead listening to the professor, but Li an was built different, because he was enjoying it alot. He loves studies quite much.

Even after one whole year, the unknown woman didn't leave his mind.
