I Fucking Love You

Kaiden shut the door against the outside world and by the time he turned around, he saw at once how truly simple the house was. Simple– yet elegant!

'This is cool..'

Kaiden walked deeper inside the living room and out of the short passageway. In there, he easily caught a view of a brown plaid sofa with heavy oak arms.

'Why brown though?'

Kaiden contemplated long about Jake's sudden change in colour preference. The drapes hanging stylishly above the empty fireplace were also of the dull kind and then he caught a peek of a bookcase just around a safe corner in the little parlour space: it was neatly packed with paperbacks, newspapers(?) & C & C.

Kai was almost forced to admit the house belonged to a former aged occupant; possibly a sad oldie who'd kept at living a sad life.

He scoffed.

''Kai, is anything the matter?''

''No Jay. I'm good. I was just wondering who lived here before you moved in.''
