Chapter 11) 2 years

It's been two years since the ritual took place and Father started teaching us family magic. Since we will still be bought wands at the age of 11, we studied the principles of vital energy and how to manage it. There is basically a lot of theory and practice on the movement of vital energy in our body.

After my father's lessons, Daphne and I either played with Astoria, or engaged in meditation and used magical energy without wands. Nothing is difficult , just moving objects of different weights . Different number of objects, and the force of attraction and repulsion.

I also started studying the blood curse and blood magic. And honestly, it's damn difficult. Blood magic is quite simple , it is the movement of blood in or out of the body, the addition of blood of various properties, such as heating or cooling, as well as saturation of blood for rapid recovery and for various spells and rituals.

That's the curse of blood, it's a complete mess. Here are the principles of the soul, DNA for inheritance, and various imprints of magical energy and elements. Not to mention the various curses , their ways of imposing , how they can interact with each other . Also, over time, the blood curse can either develop or degrade. Or maybe just get new attributes. It all depends on the bearer of the curse , his strength , his gender , his health and a damn bunch of other things .

It will not be possible to simply attract a cloud of magical energy from outside and cure everything. I'm not even sure if it's possible to cure the blood curse at all , because our family is ancient and in ancient times, we had more powerful wizards and in order to impose the blood curse, they had to either be even stronger than our ancestors , or use more than one complex ritual and turn into a lot of resources.

And our ancestors should have noticed this curse and also treated it either with rituals or other means unknown to me. Therefore, our blood curse falls on one person, once in a generation. And as I said, the curse could get new attributes from all this.

I can try to suppress it, but there may be unknown consequences in the future and also I am not sure that when suppressing her blood curse, my blood curse will not try to do something. How difficult everything is.

"Brother, when will I also be able to start conjuring like you and sister."

" I've already told you Astoria, as soon as your magic core awakens , I'll start teaching you how to do magic right away ."

"But brother , you and sister started conjuring after your 5th birthday , I'm already 6 years old , but I can't conjure . "

After this incident, the moment came when our teachers would come and start teaching us occlumency and legilimency.

"This will be your teacher for next year, or 2."

" Let me introduce myself , I am Edward Tonkin , I will teach you the art of the mind , how to protect your mind , how to improve it and most importantly my special area of magic , how to get into someone's mind "

"I Hillary Bates will teach you the basic sciences in magic and my special area, human bodies and rituals"

The last person also introduced himself.

"I am Colin Boone , I will teach you etiquette and how true aristocrats and the greatest magicians should behave, also my specialty is elemental magic . So it's better for you to study etiquette well if you want to learn from me, the miracle of the elements."

That's how our studies in various fields, magic from teachers, began. A year later Astoria also joined us. Let's start with etiquette, we had to wake up exactly at a certain time, walk with a confident, calm gait, while looking forward and keeping our backs straight. Also how and where to use different gestures, and how to speak. Not to mention the etiquette at the table.

The mind teacher taught us to erect shields, structure the mind, improve memory, mindfulness and computing power of our brain. He also talked about ways to get into someone's mind, how to bypass their shields, how to break through them, how to get the information we need and how to destroy someone's mind if necessary.

Such is the training of pureblood families, although according to the books they do not have such advanced defenses, and even more so they did not know how to penetrate someone's mind. As for the last teacher , she taught the history of magical energy , the concept of origin and various properties . She also taught us simple spells. Such as unlocking locks , easy transfiguration of objects and all sorts of little things , although the further we progressed in the study , the more advanced the concepts of magic and spells we were taught .
