hidden threat

The portrait was that of a beautiful woman that was drawn with black and white paint, her lips painted red as she looked at the people through the canvas with a seductive smirk on her lips. There was nothing different about the portrait from the other portraits that were hung on the walls of the other companies but she has never seen anyone pray in front of those portraits ever before. 

Her eyes flickered as she looked at the portrait before she turned to look at the young woman who was praying in front of the portrait and then smiled at the woman with a glint in her eyes as she softly and elegantly called her, " You seem to be praying at the wrong place," she told her as she crossed her arms and then glanced at the portrait. " I think if you want your boyfriend to propose to you then you should be praying to someone else other than wasting your time here."
