Chiron The Bro

"Thank you for coming Tom... You must be feeling extremely tiered" He slides a cup with a weird red drink inside on the table

"This is a powerful medicine able to restore fatigue and simple injuries, it doesn't have ambrosia inside, meaning you will not burn if you are completely mortal... although I'm not sure about that anymore better safe than sorry" he mutters the last part however I am still able to hear it all, prompting me to chuckle wryly not bothering to correct him

"Fuuu, thank you Chiron this is magical," I say satisfied closing my eyes briefly after chugging the medicine down, I could literally feel my body energizing again and my small wounds closing...

"Now if you are ready I would first like to have a round of due interactions; my name is Chiron, Trainer of Heroes he is Mr. D the Camp's Director and the one responsible for the Delphi Strawberry Service, the strawberry field you saw earlier, Mr.D he is Tom the mortal who killed the Minotaur" starts Chiron with the most respect he could muster when mentioning mister D however why was he looking at me... expectantly... expectantly?? Why in the seven realms would he...oh... I have to meet his expectations then

My eyes went wide at the mention of Mr. D and the moment he finishes I get up and kneel on one leg

"Lord Dyonisus, it is an honor to personally meet you" after a short tactical pause I continue "Chiron... it is good to meet you again, properly this time" I flash him a grateful smile he accepts with one of his own while turning to Mr.D that was starting to speak

"Mmh... You told me he was smart Chiron... and he is certainly respectful enough... I have one question though" He leans towards me, his violet eyes narrowed, his pressure zeroing in on me

"How did you find out my identity mortal... none ever recognized me the very first time they meet me" his curiosity was extremely overbearing, I fight back a gulp and calmly answer

"A multitude of factors really, the fact that you were a god was revealed to me by the way Chiron regarded you, the tone was extremely polite... almost tinted with a sense of duty, and let's be honest there are only a few people he needs to be respectful towards... the second clue was obviously the name Delphi given to the field you manage, although more commonly associated with Apollo and his oracles, Delphi is also the place where your myths are centered at, the Thyiades who helped at Apollos' temple during certain times of the year were your worshippers and staged festivals and rituals in your name making Delphi effectively one of the most renowned "house" for your worship. And there are a few worshipped gods at Delphi who can grow strawberries as beautiful and natural as those. The biggest clue however is the fact that your aura is stronger than anyone I have ever met, if you couple that with the scent of wine surrounding you

... well you just need to connect the dots... and you would get god of the grape harvest, winemaking, fertility, orchards and fruit, vegetation, insanity, ritual, religious ecstasy, fertility and theatre" I end my monologue

I thought he would lose interest halfway but... it seems he did not. He looks at me intently probably trying to weigh what I told him

"Are you sure you are not a child of Athena Tom?" At his question, I decide to just smile wryly not wanting to point the fact that it is the first time ever he calls someone with his real name

"Well not that I care you can sit already by the way... I already have too much on my hands since my alcohol ban... that father of mine really..." Dionysus starts while muttering some more towards his father, it seems he likes to complain about this a lot even in the books...

"Lord Dionysus sorry to interrupt but if I may... what does the ban entail? I think I might have thought of a workaround if it is what I think it is" this immediately gets his attention, his gorgeous violet eyes staring at me intently

"Mmh... father completely banned me from drinking alcohol even from the hands of another, I tried thinking about it a lot make no mistakes, but every attempt turned in failure... sadly" He sighs resigning to his fate... but maybe I had the idea for him

"I see, then maybe... I start" regaining his attention completely as if the previous resignation was all but a facade

"What if I don't know... an unassuming mortal decides to offer a bottle of wine to you in sacrifice?" his eyes go wide in surprise...

"huu... I never thought of that... it... might as well work. Let's test it out, take that blue bottle from the shelf and pour it in the fire saying "For Lord Dionysus"" he prepared himself better on the chair while Chiron was also watching intently, at first he felt proud: the guy he thought knew so much about mythology to the point he was able to recognize a God with just one look and a few words, but now... he felt only extreme curiosity

"For Lord Dionysus" I state pouring the wine into the fire, immediately a waft of wine permeated the surroundings, after the bottle was emptied I looked at Dionysus who was sporting a big smile

"It does work mortal... every time you drink alcohol in this camp remember to sacrifice some for me... You can say that this will be your City tax for your stay here he declares before teleporting out in a puff of smoke that curiously smelt like wine...

"I guess it is all done then, this... was probably the smoothest talk ever ahahaha," said Chiron while laughing at the situation

Once I went out of the cabin I noticed that something wooshed past me slightly brushing my arm, normally I would have attributed it to the wind but... i knew that there was someone in this camp who could turn invisible and overhear interesting convos.

"You there invisible person, show yourself before I report it to Chiron" I confidently state without trying to sound self-important

After a couple of seconds, a figure turns visible for the world to see, she is a girl with curvy blonde hair, an athletic body and beautiful stormy grey eyes...

"How did you..." confusion eveident on her cute face

"I don't think there exists a wind so strong inside Chirons' house that can almost make me fall while brushing only my right arm," I say with a small smile, I couldn't hide it, I was excited to meet my frens' crush.

"Also doesn't basic etiquette teach to at least introduce oneself before asking a question?" small amount of mirth exuding from every word of the sentence that doesn't go unnoticed by her, after blushing a bit after her mistakes are being exposed (at least she doesn't smite me like her mother) she finally regains her bearing

"My name is Annabeth Chase, child of Athena sorry about that, I was really startled..."

"No worries Annabeth my name is Tom Firefield, child of well... eheh, anyways it is a pleasure to meet you" I extend a hand waiting for a handshake which she immediately grabs

"Soo why was a child of Athena eavesdropping on our conversation. Oh... And would you be willing to give me a tour of the place? I heard there is an Arena, could you please take me there?" I quip with a small smile

"Oh! Sure, weird Chiron must have forgotten to arrange that for you... In any case, I'm sorry for eavesdropping, I was just curious about the new demigod that entered camp just after killing a minotaur..." She then looks at me with pity "It is a shame you don't have grey eyes, if not you would have been recognized as a child of Athena instantly, great deduction regarding Dionysus..."

"Ah... I see thanks..." I respond in confusion, Chiron should have said at some point I was completely normal no? How did she not notice that... normally even demigods are called mortals by gods... after all truly they are not immortal... But it doesn't explain why she glossed over the fact that Chiron said he wouldn't give me ambrosia because he feared I would burn...

Maybe... she "Just asking but when did you join the convo?" I ask her curiously

"Oh... mmh.. about the time Mr.D asked you the question... Why do you ask?"

"Eh... not much really you basically missed the talk about my parents" I answer cheekily making her gray eyes go wide

The two of us talked a lot that day... she is a good company

I also visited Percy and Grover, he might take a few days to wake up the guy... stay strong man
