CH 20

"Look at them, a pair of country bumpkins, it's common knowledge that you aren't supposed to sit unless you are permitted by the host. Weren't you thought in school? Don't you know you are disrespecting our boss by behaving in this manner?" Bella said, obviously trying to get on the good side of her boss. Maureen just looked on, making no attempt to stop her.

"And you, I suppose you weren't taught that it's disrespectful to speak when you boss is yet to speak? Are you trying to imply that you are the boss here not him?!" Rose shoot back almost immediately.

Damien has been typing on his phone ever since they stepped into the office, but after Rose spoke up, he looked over at Rose, this is the first time seeing her look so fierce, as she always been like this?

'She resembles a Rose with Thorns now' He thought. Rose noticed that Damien was staring at her, she could guess what was going in his mind,

'I'll explain to him later, right now, I have to get him justice'

Bella blushed in anger, "You..."

Bella could not continue in her words as she was stopped by her Boss.

"How may I help you?"

"I am Rose Wilson" Rose said with power behind her voice.

*Clank*

Josh immediately stood up in shock. He couldn't help but ask again.

"W...who did you say you were?" But he was met with no reply, no wonder he felt that she looked familiar.

He was once asked to deliver food, at first back then he thought, 'Me? Deliver food? as the Manager of this big Restaurant'

But when he heard it was the Wilson's that was asking, he immediately left what he was doing and went to deliver on time. He later found out that they were also anonymous shareholders of the restaurant. Apparently, Miss Wilson was once interested in cooking, so Mr. Bob Wilson anonymously bought some shares of this company to allow her free pass to enter into the kitchen and learn.

"You are... you... are" Josh stammered.

"Young Miss!" Josh shouted as he gave a full bow. Josh could not help it, not just because she was a shareholder but also because of the power behind the Wilson's

Both Bella and Maureen was shocked, though Maureen was pleasantly surprised... she could smell her promotion now. Bella on the other hand, had her mouth wide open,

'What's going on? Why is Boss bowing to someone like her?'

"Boss, what are you doing? Why are you bowing to a..."

"Shut up!" Josh interrupted her immediately.

Bella kept quiet immediately and looked pitifully at Josh, Maureen chuckled while Bella looked at her aggressively.

"Miss Wilson, how can I be of help to you?"

"Help? Ok why don't you provide to me your judgement on something..."

And so Rose explained all that happened without mentioning the name of the person who insulted her. Bella thought that she was been forgiven, not realizing that its because Rose didn't even care to know her name.

"Of course, she should be fired. With immediate effect and with no severance pay," Josh said eager to prove himself to Rose that he missed the hints that Bella was giving with her eyes.

*Oh really? I really do like your judgement on this"

"Thank you, Miss Wilson. Will that be all?"

"All? Of course not." Rose smiled and twirled her chair to face Bella. Beads of sweat were already dropping from Bella's head.

"Now, Fire her"

"What?!" Josh was shocked when Rose pointed to Bella.

"I don't understand, Miss Wilson."

"I thought you were smart enough but it seems not huh?" Rose taunted before she continued, "She's the one who did it. Now Fire her with immediate effect and she is to be given no severance pay"

"Jo..." Bella wanted to say but Josh gave her a stink eye.

"Boss, I've been working here for a long time now. You can't fire me" Bella said as she held Josh's arm.

Josh was disgusted with her act but it was true that he couldn't bear to fire her. He was in such a hurry to please Miss Wilson that he realized now that he might have spoken too soon.

"Miss Wilson, how about we suspend her?" Josh carefully tested the waters.

"Mr. Josh..." Rose said as she read the name plate on his desk

"...and how about we close down this restaurant?"

*Beep beep*

Josh was not opportuned to answer as he received an anonymous mail, Maureen also received an anonymous message which was posted on the company homepage.

"Wait, I can't afford to close the restaurant down. Damien, what should I do? I am a shareholder here, I'll lose money if the restaurant were to close down" Rose pouted.

Damien chuckled when he saw her pout, "Then you don't have to close it down"

"Shar...shar... She's a shareholder here?" Bella asked nobody in particular, she seemed to be in shock with this particular information thrown at her.

Josh, in the other hand, was shocked when he saw the content of the mail.

"We wouldn't want that getting to your financeé now would we?" Damien who was busy typing away on his phone finally stopped and spoke up.

Rose looked at him wondering what he was talking about Damien just said,

"It's nothing, I just sent a little something to quicken him. You must be hungry now."

Rose smiled and said, "No I'm not hungry yet"

*Grr grr*

Rose felt like she could dig a hole out if embrassment.

Rose touched her tummy and said, "That wasn't me."

Damien looked at her stomach and then looked at her and nodded, inside he was trying his possible best not to let the corners of his lips rise.

Maureen who watched what was going on, said, "I apologize, I haven't had my meal yet."

Rose looked at her gratefully and finally looked at Damien in triumph.

"She'll be fired" Josh finally said with a sigh.

Bella was first shocked, she could not say a word.

"And?..." Rose asked.

"With immediate effect and no severance pay"

Josh added.

"Miss Bella, please excuse us and leave the premise of the company and never step foot on this premise again" Josh turned to face Bella.

"No no, you can't do this to me! You can't do that to me!!!" Bella said as she rushed towards His hand held him by his collar.

"I doubt she'll even have the guts to walk in here after all this"

Maureen turned her phone to them, including Bella. She had finally opened the mail that was sent to the company homepage. It showed pictures of every single customer Bella had f*cked, it even contained some videos. Bella was ruined, not only can she not work here, it's highly impossible to get another job in this profession again. Bella was finished.

Josh looked at those pictures and felt even more disgusted... this was the girl he wanted to protect? He thought she loved him and him alone, he even thought of still sponsoring her after she's fired.

Not knowing that he had been sharing the same girl with his customers! One of the men there was even his best friend. He shared a babe with his best friend?! Josh was furious.

Bella looked at Maureen's phone and she said softly, "It's impossible... I made sure..." Bella immediately paused, a thought suddenly occurred to her as she ran to Josh and knelt down at him.

"Josh... darling... All those pictures, they are fake... they're not true. Someone must be trying to frame me!" Bella screamed.

Josh kicked her and wondered what he was in a shrill like her. He quickly dialed the security number,

"Please come to my office now"

"It's fake, fake. Someone must have wanted to frame me" Bella still muttered, she seemed out of her mind, she sudden looked at Maureen with bloodied eyes.

"It must be you... it's you, isn't it? You wanted the promotion so you chose to ruin my life like this?"

Bella crawled towards Maureen.

"It's YOU!!!" Bella screamed. Maureen got scared immediately.

But before Bella could reach Maureen, she was apprehended by the security guards who came right on time.

They held her arm to arm.

"Please escort her out of this restaurant, she's no longer works here anymore" Josh said.

The security escorted Bella out of the office with her screaming,

"No Josh, you can't do this to me! You promised... you said that you liked me!!!" Bella's screams gradually faded away.

Damien immediately stood up, not wanting to spend another minute here remembering that Rose was famished.

"Well, I guess we should be on our way now" Rose said as she stood up too.

"Thank you for your visit, Miss Wilson. I apologize for any inconveniences caused" Josh stood up and bowed to Rose.

"Hum" Rose said as she held Damien's hand and moved to the door. Damien opened the door of the office for her.

As Rose wanted to step out, she remembered one thing,

"Oh, one more thing"

"Yes, Miss Wilson?"

"Promote her" Rose pointed to Maureen.

"She deserves it"

Rose and Damien finally left.

"Yes, Miss Wilson" Josh said as he bowed.

Maureen also was shocked, she never thought that she would get promoted like this, "Thank you, Miss" Maureen shouted as loud as she could.
