Later that day, Nathaniel knocked on Salana's door. He was extremely nervous. He needed his plan to succeed in order to bridge the gap between them. He knew it wouldn't do it all, but it would still somewhat ease it. At least, that was what he was hoping for.
"Come in."
He breathed deeply to calm himself before entering. He saw her lying on her chaise. He felt extremely nervous, wondering if he should sit in front of her or to the side.
"You can have a seat over there on the chairs."
He walked over, noting that she had asked him to sit as far away from him as possible. He looked at her.
"Well then, What is your answer? "
"I'll agree to it on two conditions. One is my freedom from you, as previously mentioned, and the other is freedom on the whole. I want to be able to leave the pack freely. I refuse to do this and still be a bird in a cage. "
