Like it's Spring

Soteria and Aletheia had been straying close to the edge when they realised that the mercenaries were planning to get rid of everyone else there. The first of the trio had been impaled with a sword through the chest while warning them as they had been distracted. From there, things got progressively worse. The other two had scrambled away from them, but they had both been caught. One of them had their neck snapped in a manner so gruesome that Soteria felt nausea well up inside her, and had to actively fight her desire to throw up.
