Chapter 11

Tristan held an unusual view of the situation. Although his body turned into this crystal structure, it did not add extra weight to him. How much would a 14 year old boy weigh compared to the strength of a werewolf?

Most of whom have no problem tossing or kicking cars out of their way. Tristan's body was easily fumbled about in the rush of the outside wolves trying to get in while the inside wolves were trying to get out.

tristan watched as the living blood moved from body to body jumping on new hosts to devour and suck the life from them. The panic in Tristan's mind was so jarring, he felt like he was inside a very dark narrow tunnel and everything around him was so distant from him.

"Alex, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.."

bodies piled up in minutes, everything was happening so fast. Tristan wanted to do something so bad but he felt powerless. it was the same sort of feeling that would take over him whenever his sister and parents would completely disregard his pleas for mercy.

Even if he was a child that caused an accident. weren't both children still alive? Why was their treatment so different? especially when it was that wicked liar who really went around and tried to kill him.

Why does he still not have the strength to defend himself, to defend the person he cared about?

Why is all of this happening now? This was supposed to be the greatest weekend of his life so far! This was supposed to be a time of life, celebration, happiness. Didn't he work so hard to put up with everyone's terrible attitudes and stares all these years?

Where was his peace? where was his respite? he had finally gotten his face back…

"My… My face?

That's right… Alexiel…

He didn't give up on me, he didn't throw me away, he insisted that things would not only be fine, but that everything would work out as well.

He said as long as we put our full effort into what we want to achieve anything is possible. If we fail, we will look for another way! We have to keep trying!

I… I have to keep trying!"

Slowly the dark narrow tunnel around Tristan began to shorten and lighten up. clarity of the situation before him filled his eyes. He could finally truly experience the screams for help and the bodies that littered the ground.

The werewolves' shiny coats of various browns, grays, and whites had lost their luster. Surprisingly enough they were not caked with dried blood, but they looked very aged and dusty like rugs stored terribly for a century.

Before long there was only a single survivor of the wolf pack. Gordon's title as an enforcer was clearly not for nothing. Even still, it was clear to see that he didn't have long for this world. He kneeled with his back to the strung up Karlito.

Gordon looked emaciated as his skin was no longer packed full of muscle, instead his ribs could be seen. and if you looked closely enough you could see the faint beating of his heart pulsing through his chest.

When silence descended upon the factory as there was no one else struggling to survive, the blood collected from all the wolves swam back and coalesced into a giant blob of blood!

It was black and gave off a pungent aroma, but we must remember this was Alexel's blood. Although the blood was pungent it had a subtle hint of sweetness that lingered at the back of the throat.

"GROAHHHHH!!"

The blood was at least 10 meters tall and began thrashing about! The over hundred lives it had taken had done nothing to quell its inner rage!

"FA… THER… MY.. FATH… ER!!

"GROAAHHHHH!!"

This blob was without a doubt Alexiel, or better to say it was some form of Alexiel that he hadn't been aware of prior and it's hard to say when, or where such an ability appeared from.

Hearing Alexiel's voice come out of that giant blob made electricity shoot through Tristan's entire body! He was shaken to his core, terrified would be an understatement.

"No.. Alexiel, this won't do!

Alexiel you cannot succumb to these emotions that are eating away at you on the inside! This isn't your fault!"

Suddenly the blob of blood began to fluctuate intensely! it was like jello that looked like it might actually break apart!

"I… SHOU..LD.. HAVE BEEN… THERE FOR… HIM

NO.. FA… THER… I'M…

I SH… OULD… HAVE… KNOWN…"

Tristan moved from his spot that was still very close to the entrance, in big strides even though his arms were hugged in on himself, he wanted to get as close to Alexiel as possible.

"Alexiel! this is not your fault! you couldn't have known! Don't take this all on your own! Trust me!

We're a team, remember!"

Tristan was standing only 2 meters away from where the giant blob was! He fumbled with his hands close to his chest for a moment, but quickly he opened his arms wide in an inviting manner, completely exposing his chest!

He thought back on the memories of Alexiel working so hard to open him up and become his friend, he thought back to all the late night conversation they had over text, finally he thought about the happenings of today.

Somewhere deep down Tristan always believed that his life would be different and everyone would treat him differently if he had a complete face. It wasn't until he had the chance to meet Alexiel's family and experience their friendly banter before and after his transformation that he realized that it was never his face that was the issue.

Just all the nasty close minded and brainwashed people around him. Those who easily believed the rumors that he was a monster and were excited to run with it and cause him more problems. Now he had something more he wanted to live for, something more to experience!

"You said you wouldn't throw me away! I need you to remember who you are! if you go on like this your fathers last breath will fade!

Can you feel it too? can you feel the slight quiver coming from him!

Alexiel! Let me be your strength this time so we may find hope in saving your father together!"

Tristan's voice was only but so loud when he started off, but towards the end, when all his feelings were finally catching up to him, he couldn't help but shout from the deepest parts of his being!

"Let me help you!!!"

The giant blob paused for the briefest of moments!

It wasn't so much that he stopped to think about the proposal, but more about feeling the faint pulse of life still lingering within his fathers body.

"ARGGHHHHH!!!"

Just like Alexiel had felt last time, this time it was Tristan's turn to feel the door open from his side. There really was no lock there, just a subtle feeling of waiting for someone to open the door from the otherside.

The white light enveloped Tristan's whole body and the uppermost part of the Blob twisted in on itself like a cyclone and shot towards him!

This time it was Tristan's turn to take the wheel!

He had grown into a man that was about 6'3" was built like a small titan! He was not a shimmering crystal like in his previous state. No, this time he was a fully flesh body!

His rusty brown-red hair was twisted into locks and they fell down his back reaching past his shoulder blades. Cerulean bands could be seen on the upper triceps of both arms. These bands held a pair of large scarlet gemstones that gave off an intense feeling of power!

Both of his eyes  had no white or pupil to speak of, they were completely crystal in a deep shade of magenta! the center of his forehead opened to reveal one large golden eye that shone bright enough to be seen from the outside!

Matthew and Jeremy had just reached the entrance of the factory and they were almost blown back onto their asses from the sudden surge of power filling the place!

It didn't help that they were caught off guard as the sight of so many dead wolves had really left their minds reeling!

"Arghh! What? What is happening there!!? I can't get a good look!"

Jeremy never replied! He let his eyes literally burn as he never looked away from the brilliant light that was filling the factory from floor to ceiling!

He could only fill his mind with remarks he often heard in his past life as a mortal, from those who'd experienced greater wonders than their mind could comprehend!

"A living Saint is standing before us!"

This was all he could say as his eyeballs literally melted out of his head! Finally the push of power reached its climax and they were both thrown about 5 meters past the entrance of the building along with dozens of werewolf corpses.

Tristan looked at his hands, he was already used to being naked from their transformations, it never even crossed his mind to care.

The rest of the blood blob laid flat but was contained around him, floating a few inches off the ground. He knew that it would move at his will so he wasn't worried about it in the slightest.

Instead all of his eyes moved to stare at the last remaining wolf! Clearly this wolf had the potential to be a Patriarch and lead his own clan. Yet here he was in another city doing someone else's bidding.

Whoever was in control of this pack was a very powerful adversary. Not someone either of the boys could comprehend. Nevertheless none of that mattered. After killing more than a hundred of their pack members this would be enough to spark an irreconcilable blood feud!

Even still, all that was irrelevant in this current moment! Tristan had a promise in his heart that he wished to fulfill with Alexiel!

"You are getting off too easily, dying by my hands. Unfortunately, i have no taste for torture, or making others suffer. This isn't a mercy killing, I just have use for that powerful heart of yours!"

Tristan stretched his hand out and let their combined powers flow through him! From a distance it felt like he was holding Gordons heart in his very hands.

He could feel the tough fleshy texture, its wet blood that was so warm it should be boiling over!

Suddenly from his extremities,  Gordons entire body began to crystallize! The deep cerulean shades with purple lighting marks took over every fiber of his being.

When it finally reached his heart Tristan waved his other hand and the massive amount of blood lingering around him rushed into this new crystal body in huge waves!

Tristan then forced out a drop of blood from his own body and pushed it towards this pool of crystal and blood and let it seep into the heart of the werewolf as well!

Very soon a transformation began as the shape of this werewolf started to fold in on itself. When it was finally small enough to fit into the palm of his hand and had absorbed the gallons of excess blood its shape was finally released.

This time the crystal's form was of a rhombicosidodecahedron! its form was breathtaking! It was absolutely awe inspiring, and left wonder in the eyes of the beholder! Feeling that his work was well worth his time and effort, Tristan welcomed the crystal into the core of his being with open arms.

It melted directly into his chest! His entire body pulsed and thrumbed with power! The radiance from his eyes intensified and seemed like he could pierce directly through the concrete walls!

Even with all this power flowing through him, he didn't allow it to intoxicate him! He waved one of his arms and removed all the hooks from Karlitos body, using his ample energy to form a coating of protection around him and float him a few inches from the ground.

With another wave of his hand a single drop of blood was conjured out from his heart and he placed it directly into Karlitos heart. This of course did not have some miraculous effect of completely regrowing the skin or muscle he lost. but it should help in the recovery of the rest of his organs, at least enough to extend his life.

Tristan was extremely focused on helping the energy in that drop of blood seep into every part of Karlitos body. The task itself wasn't difficult, what was difficult,  was being sure that the powerful energy and the intense heat didn't aggravate any wounds further.

With such focus Tristan completely lost track of the time, making sure to burn through as much of the stored up energy that Alexiel had usurped from the werewolves, giving longevity to this current fusion.

Even still the transformation didn't hold long as within a half hour, he could feel his limits being reached.

At this point the intensity of his aura had gradually declined. Without turning around he could hear dozens of footsteps coming in from the entrance. He could feel the power rolling off of several of them. One of which had an aura that bleed thick and touched every corner of the factory.

He knew this person's power outshined the enforcer's that had just died at Alexiel's hands.

Without turning around he spoke to the person with this aura directly.

"It's hard to say if father will survive this ordeal.

And even if we piece his body back together, there may be lasting psychological damage.

When we next wake, we have no desire for funeral garbs."

This was Tristan's warning to the vampires! They better do all within their power to save Karlito. There was no telling what kind of state Alexiel would be in if he woke to find out that one of his parent's had expired!

Tristan was curiosity to find out what would follow after such news.

With that said, the white light of fusion exploded out of his body. He and Alexiel were not flung a great distance apart this time. Instead they could be seen with both pairs of hands locked into each other, foreheads touching, and legs bend facing each other.

They were laying peacefully on their sides facing each other. Both boys were in a very deep slumber! their respective aura's were weak and hard to sense.

But it didn't seem like they were in any discomfort and there were no signs of wounds.
