"Oh. I see what you are doing,"

The accusing gaze in Romulus' eyes only made Dahlia more confused. What the hell was he talking about? He needed to explain to her so she could understand because that nagging feeling in her stomach only became worse.

"If you are not going to explain to me what you mean by that, King Romulus..." She added a bit of articulation on his name, "Then you might as well return to wherever you came from and let me go!" She still couldn't break out of his hold to her frustration.

"Don't act coy with me, Dahlia," He said instead, grabbing her chin firmly, " I've seen a lot of women like you. I guess your excuse for not joining the contest is your engagement. But you can't fool me, Dahlia, I've been watching you and I know nothing is going on between you two. " He told her.
