Closure

Closure. It was all I needed to move on. Many people would say that women handle rejection poorly; maybe even worse than men but I was determined to prove that notion wrong.

I would not be the jealous and insecure girl that could not move on from a guy, instead, I would get closure by any means necessary…even if the knowledge becomes too much for me to handle.

I just needed to feel complete—for this torment to finally be over. I wanted the day I could talk to Tobi without feeling like my heart would shatter into pieces, to come once and for all. I craved the freedom it would bring.

Two weeks after the exams, I returned to Lagos with a mission.

The first was unsubscribing from my family drama and the second which was the most important one was to find out the truth from Tobi.

What I would do with the truth depends on what the truth turned out to be.
