156 -=The plot thickens=-
Jashin couldn't be angrier
his follower Hidan disappeared, which normally he wouldn't mind since he had other things to worry about, but this timing was incredibly awful
"BASTARD!"

In anger he hit the wall of the temple he was at, his followers trembled at their god's wrath
Jashin searched for years on end for a specific location, one that would grant him UNLIMITED POWER, the likes of which would make Palpatine proud
and to achieve that, he only needed two things:
1 - The location of one of the remaining roots of the shinju
2 - A buttload of souls, which he was too lazy to collect, so he made Hidan do it during the years
Yet just when he finally finds the root... Hidan disappears...
His luck could be said to be awful, his anger was immeasurable and his day was ruined
now, he could collect the souls again, but by himself this time, the problem being, doing so while hiding from a certain demon lord who wished their existence remained a secret would take him years... so he wouldn't be patient enough, and even though he was strong... in front of the Otsutsuki he wasn't much...
"That bastard alien... when I find Hidan he will be the first one that I will kill..." He complained
he only needs to find Hidan...
as for why Hidan could carry souls with him, that was the effect of Jashin's ultimate skill Erythnul, lord of slaughter (Erythnul is the Oeridian god of Hate, Envy, Malice, Panic, Ugliness, and Slaughter.) that made Hidan his vessel, allowing him to collect souls for Jashin
the only limitation was that he had to touch Hidan to absorb the souls, which would strengthen Hidan as well as part of his skill...
Jashin couldn't feel Hidan, which can only mean that he was in another dimension... the worst-case scenario for Jashin since he couldn't enter another dimension...
the moment he is out though, he would feel him immediately
"I will kill the bastard who put his hands on MY souls..." He said while gritting his teeth
only a fool would care about Hidan, the human had its uses and his affinity to slaughter made it easy for him to become Jashin's vessel but he was easily replaceable
Jashin didn't lack genocidal followers afterall
but the souls Hidan was unconsciously carrying...
those had value to Jashin... a tad bit too much even

While Jashin kept cursing and screaming bloody murder, in another place hidden underground a certain masked individual suddenly sneezed
"Is someone talking about me behind my back?" Obito asked
"... what?" Black Zetsu asked back, not knowing why Obito asked this
"Nothing... how has Neji been doing?" Obito asked
"Uhm... good enough
his eyes are showing signs of evolution already, it will only take some time... some months maybe" Zetsu said
"That's quite quick..." Obito commented
Madara had told him that the evolution of his eyes to Rinnegan took decades, and that was after he already had an EMS which is by far closer to a Rinnegan than a normal Byakugan is to a Tenseigan
"Yes, that's surprisingly fast... while I can't exactly know why it is though, it's a good thing to us anyway" Zetsu concluded
"Yes... it is..." Obito answered absentmindedly as he looked over some papers in front of him

Rimuru sat atop a building while he watched his subordinates train from afar
I say train, but they might as well be playing tag really
Touka charged her jump with [Discharge] and sped towards a flying Blizzard, who was chasing an, also flying, Fuu
Fuu flew quickly in front of Rimuru, only seconds before Blizzard also passed by, with her snow wings struggling to keep up with the jinchurikki's bug wings
Touka landed a bit away from Rimuru, quickly charging another jump and going after the other two
"Come back here nya!"

Rimuru watched as the trio made their tag game/training all around the village while thinking about the future
In basically no time, he expected the other villages to attack Uzushio, and being the lazy ass he is, he wanted to not lift a finger while defending it
for this, he let his subordinates train to do it themselves, which would actually be good for them
or so he said...
If anything went wrong, he could always Thanos snap the enemy away and be done with it, but he wanted his subordinates to be strong... to not need his deus ex machina intervention every time they fought...
he wanted even for the village to be able to fight back without him, even not knowing why he was going through such trouble
it would have been so much easier to just wait for the 4th ninja war and THEN make his village...
"Things are just so boring right now..." Rimuru muttered
truly, being the unbeatable slime was fun and all, but he missed the simple parts of life
not needing to eat, sleep, go to the bathroom, etc... things he at first liked to not need, now he missed it...
"...
what other Rimuru again?"
"Ah, yeah... that annoying guy...
I think he did say something like that..."

I guess we could..."
"You're making it sound like a date or something" Rimuru joked
"Heh, Okay then... let's go eat something..." Rimuru said before jumping down from the building
