Memories of the past

After a few hours of sleep, Nathan suddenly woke up when he felt thirst hit his throat. The man glanced at Clara who was still sleeping while hugging her chest without wearing any clothes but wearing a chest-length blanket with him. He released his wife's embrace slowly, then got out of bed slowly so that his wife wouldn't wake up.

Nathan left the room and walked down the stairs while staring at the very quiet atmosphere.

'If Clara and I had a baby, maybe this mansion wouldn't be so lonely. Besides, I haven't had children at all because Frederica isn't my daughter,' he thought restlessly. 'But it looks like Clara doesn't want to get pregnant before all my problems are over. but it's also the right decision because if she got pregnant at a time like this, it wouldn't be good. After all, she must have been under a lot of stress like the doctor said yesterday.'
