Nathan's Promise

Nathan walks into such a beautiful place. The expanse of green grass is so beautiful and neat, and the blue sky seems to add to the beauty of the scenery. He saw Clara sitting under a tree, looking gloomy in a white overalls dress, like the dress she had last worn before her funeral.

"Clara," Nathan whispered, completely remembering that Clara was dead and all he could see was her soul.

Nathan approached Clara with a worried look, then sat down beside her, was about to wipe her tears but was prevented from doing so.

"It's useless for you to wipe my tears because I will cry again and again," Clara said with her flat gaze.

"But why are you crying?" asked Nathan in surprise, worried that Clara would die but not yet willing to leave the human world. "I thought you would be at peace with God," he continued.

"I can't be at peace, and the reason I'm crying is you," Clara said.

"Me?"
