Not just a shadow

Felix was still sitting in a reclining position on the bed, unable to do anything because the wound in his belly was still so vulnerable, even he could only eat soft food such as porridge. the man was not alone on the bed, but with his daughter who leaned beside him while playing on his cellphone.

"Honey, can I see mommy?" asked Patricia who had just come from the bathroom.

"It's up to you," Felix answered flatly.

Patricia sighed, feeling disappointed with Felix's attitude but not daring to protest because it was based on a strong reason, the reason for worrying that she would again help her mother commit a crime.
