It was almost midnight and the Cafe had just closed. Even Jilly could see how Daniel, who had not stopped working all this time, made the man feel bored waiting for his brother to finish his work.
"Daniel," Jilly called. "Why are you taking so long? I'm tired of wanting to hurry home and get a good night's sleep."
A man who was tidying things immediately stopped his activities, then turned to the direction where his cousin was.
"Why are you still here?" asked Daniel lazily. "I never told you to wait for me."
The words from her brother made Jilly immediately stunned by what she had just heard.
"Your mouth is so spicy," he said, now shaking his head with a wry smile. "Don't you ever feel sorry for me?"
"Pity?" Daniel repeated with one eyebrow raised and his hands on his hips. "For what? Your life is comfortable, what should I pity you?"
Jilly let out a shaky breath, then said, "That's not the point. But . . . well, it's up to you. I'll say goodbye."
After that Daniel could see for himself how the person in front of him now started to stand up and walked away to get out of the Cafe through the back door, making the man immediately sigh.
"Jilly," Daniel called with his eyes looking at his cousin's sturdy back. "Thank's."
It was only then that he resumed his delayed work with a confused feeling because he couldn't stop thinking about Ametsa's health condition, which he had yet to meet again.
Meanwhile, at this time Jilly, who was still in his position, was smiling quietly hearing what someone in the back had just said, causing the man to take a deep breath.
"Not bad," he said to himself. Then he immediately turned his body back to see Daniel who was still with his work. "Hurry up, let's go home together."
Daniel, who had almost finished his work, immediately turned to the man in front of him with wide eyes. He gave a confused look to the person in front of him so that now he could see how Jilly was smiling at him.
On the other hand, Ametsa is currently alone on the balcony in a standing position while tilting her head up to look at the sky at night. The girl smiled when she saw the stars that were up there making it look like the hope she always asked for every day.
"Heavens, can I hope again? I want to see my parents one last time."
Unknowingly the tears fell again so that Ametsa felt her cheeks were wet again.
"Please, don't ever get tired of listening to me keep hoping with the same hope. Because I have no more hope than to meet those I haven't seen for a long time. I... really miss them."
Behind there was a pair of men and women who witnessed for themselves how a girl misses her parents so much. As parents, they can also feel how painful it is that Ametsa's life has been alone.
It's no longer about momentary happiness, but about how Ametsa will be able to face every obstacle that at some point will come and pass again so quickly.
"I feel sorry for the girl," said Meyra with a sad expression on her face. "I want to be a Mother to her, but..."
Hanzo who heard the words of the woman beside him immediately sighed. "I understand, I have. She must have needed time to accept our presence all this time, you must remember that Ametsa is just a lone person, it must be so hard to trust someone who is around her all this time, including the two of us."
It's true, Ametsa is a very careful girl, even though she looks relaxed in front of Daniel and his parents, Hanzo can see how she deals with it.
On the one hand, the girl felt grateful for being able to meet good people, but on the other hand, Ametsa also didn't want herself to be hurt by the hopes that emerged from within her.
Therefore, Hanzo hoped that the girl would be able to open her heart to him and Meyra. If it was about Daniel, the man wouldn't force it because it was Ametsa's business with his son.
But now all he hoped for was the trust of Ametsa because Hanzo loved the girl very much. He already considered her as his biological daughter, there was a feeling of joy from within him because the man could be met with a girl like her.
I don't know, Hanzo was very happy to have met this beautiful girl in his life. And now he promises, whatever happens to Ametsa, he will take care of her with all his heart. Because for him, the child is a precious treasure in his life.
"I love him so much," said Meyra with teary eyes. "I don't want to see her like this all the time."
A smile appeared on Hanzo's face, the man kissed the temple of his beloved wife with great affection. Then said, "It's just you, I also love her very much, Meyra. She is like my own daughter."
Remembering how Daniel's sister who had left them forever since in the womb, made their son not have a brother other than Jilly who was his cousin.
Only Jilly was closest to their son, nothing else. Because Daniel is someone who is not easy to approach by anyone, but with a girl in front of him makes Hanzo and Meyra are quite surprised.
Ametsa changed Daniel's life one hundred percent, it seems their son has fallen in love with a girl who is alone. Not having someone who can accompany her daily life in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
Since then, Daniel has often prioritized Ametsa who might need something. The boy always helped her, but unusually because Hanzo and Meyra understood how the girl was.
"AMETSA!!!"
The sound of someone screaming can make a husband and wife distracted. The two of them immediately turned their bodies towards where a man who had just arrived opened the door with a bang.
"Daniel!" reprimanded Hanzo with both eyes staring intently at his son. "Can you calm down a bit? Ametsa is fine, don't overdo it."
However, Daniel is not his name if he does not obey his father's words. The man immediately walked quickly to the man to ask the whereabouts of Ametsa.
"Dad, where is Ametsa?!" he asked with a very worried look on his face. Meanwhile, Hanzo and Meyra are currently silent while looking at each other after hearing the question that was just thrown at their son.
