"Yo, Wendell Dumein!" Jax's face fills your HUD as you activate his channel so that you can talk to him. His dark eyes glint with amusement as he studies your face, examining you briefly as if he's sizing you up. "Been a while since we last worked together like this, huh?" he says in a friendly manner. Confused, you remind him that you just went on a patrol mission with him two weeks ago.

"This is different. It's you, me, and my girl together again, just like back in boot camp! We were the team to beat back then, and everyone knew it!" he says excitedly.
