"For the record, I'm against this plan of yours," Balogh chimes in. "Too risky and pointless." True, you think, but you've also got a corvette on your side. That should lessen the risk of the three of you getting injured, you argue. At this, Balogh simply says, "Do what you think is best," and cuts off the line.

A few minutes later, the guns on the corvette swivel around towards the cave. Ami has control of the guns, after she begged you to use them. "I've got them in my sights," she tells you over the radio channel as you stand at the stern, where you can get a good view of the fight. You tell her to wait for it as you turn on your suit's loudspeaker and shout out a warning to the workers, telling them that you're about to open fire on the Beasts.

Your warning has an immediate effect: they scatter as fast as they can in an unorganized, panicked retreat, though a few braver ones slowly back away, still firing on the Beasts to keep them pinned down. You wait a minute longer before you radio the order to Ami to open fire on the pack.

A loud zipping sound erupts from the corvette as its guns open fire on the pack of Beasts.
