You stare so long at the picture that you're startled when you feel a hand on your shoulder. Turning around, you are relieved to see your mom looking at you. "Were you expecting someone else?" she asks, noticing your expression. You shake your head and tell her that you were just over-imagining things. She frowns at this, and you quickly reassure her, saying that you're perfectly fine, and ask when the Major's coming home.

"Oh…they don't tell you anything in the army, do they?" your mom asks you. You shake your head and ask her what's the matter. "Pudding Pie said that she has a meeting to attend to tonight. Apparently, it's all top secret and hush hush, so she won't be back for a few days at least," your mom says. You frown at this and wonder if it has anything to do with what happened on the train.

Your mom pats your shoulder again and says, "Why don't you head up to your room? I'm sure you're very tired after your train trip. Get some sleep, and I'll call you when lunch is ready." You ask her about her job, and she waves her hand impatiently. "I took the day off today. Nothing's going to keep me from spending some time with my little soldier," she says with a bright smile.

You nod and walk up to your room; you're definitely feeling a little tired. It would be nice to get some sleep first after your long trip here. Come to think of it, you don't think you got any sleep yesterday. Maybe the thought of going back home after having been away for a while caused it? It's definitely good to be back home again after the train incident, and you know that you could definitely do with a good rest in order to clear your mind after what happened.

You head off to your bed and lie on it before dozing off.
