You tell Lamesha that you're just feeling tired of all the drills and the relatively humdrum soldier's life; that you spend most of your time preparing for nothing to happen, so you decided to take a break from all of it and go back home for a while to relax from the nothing that you've been doing so far.
Lamesha is quiet for a while before she finally says, "Okay…it does sound like a valid reason, I guess. But I've never really pegged you as the change their mind after a while type of person, you know." She turns and gives you a scrutinizing look, and you stare back at her for a while before she finally relents and turns her attention back to her driving.
"Still, it's good to hear that you're at least re-considering this whole soldier business," she says cheerily. "Don't want to hear the news of you being killed while fighting off terrorists in some god-forsaken war or something like that, you know." You nod and say that you don't have any intention of dying like that at all. "That's good to know, at least. So…time to make sure that you're going to quit being a soldier then," she says, her mood changing for the better, and she accelerates a little as she drives towards the nightclub.
Alejandro is already there by the time you get there, waiting for the two of you in front of the club.
