As you read through their descriptions, Edgar starts to explain them. "First one here is a drone and remote control program. Just turn it on and you'll have an extra set of eyes and guns on the field for those times when you just have to have backup and you need it at that exact moment." He points at the first mod on the list. The drone itself looks like a small plane that's apparently launched from a backpack that would be installed in the back of your suit, you note, glancing at the schematics of the mod.

"The next one is a suit repair kit that I managed to miniaturize so that it can perform emergency field repairs. It won't do anything major like replacing a missing plate, but it will seal up holes and fix cracks in your circuitry and plating so that you can last a little longer in the field. As an added bonus, you can use it to patch up other suits, as well. It takes about five minutes to perform the fix though, so it's not useful during a firefight, and the kit itself only has enough materials to last for one use," he explains as you press on the second icon to see what it does.

You flip to the next page and Edgar grins as he points at it. "My pride and joy, especially since I don't have any medical expertise. This thing is a stimulation injector. Essentially, it's a drug cocktail of painkillers, caffeine, and amphetamines that will give you a quick boost in any combat situation or in case you need a pick-me-up while you're playing watchdog. Right now, there's only one dose of the drug inside the mod since my contact needs time to perfect the drug and tweak out any unwanted side effects," he explains, causing you to raise your eyebrow at his words. "Oh, it won't kill you…at least not immediately, so you should be fine for a while," he says dismissively.

Warily, you move on to the next mod, and the sight of its name makes you look at Edgar. "What? Demolition charges aren't combat mods. You need time to set those things, and you're probably riddled with holes by then," he protests. "Anyway, that mod has five demolition blocks stored within it, so you shouldn't run out during a normal situation," he continues. You point out to him that you're playing bodyguard; why should you need to use plastic explosives during this mission? "Eh, just in case something happens. You never know," he says dismissively.

"By the way, I've also fixed a couple of bugs in the previous mod that I installed in your suit and tweaked a few features so that it's a bit more user friendly, based on your feedback," he says. "The other mods have also been updated, so if you want to try them out, now's as good a time as any, and you've got free reign over your arsenal as well," Edgar says as he gestures at the stack of weapons behind him.
