The trip passes by in relative silence; no one wants to talk about what happened earlier, since the idea that Lee has betrayed you hasn't sunk into the team's mind yet. Only when Balogh steps on the brakes and announces your arrival at your destination is the silence broken, and everyone stands up, making a last check of their gear before stepping out into the cool night. According to your suit, there's a cold breeze blowing, and you can see the tall trees swaying in the wind.

"You sure there's nothing odd going on with this forest here?" Larry asks as she stares at the trees. The rest of you shrug, uncertain whether this is normal or not yourselves.

Balogh glances at it and says, "I don't really know. Like I said, I'm not a plant expertm but considering that I think I was here maybe ten years ago and the trees weren't this big, you might be onto something. Although…I'm not really sure if anyone has reported anything odd happening here before."

"Then maybe we'll be the first to find out something new," Larry quips in a manner that's a little more cheerful than the atmosphere warrants, but she quickly slaps her face and nods at everyone. "Lead the way, and let's hope that we don't run into your friend out there tonight," she says, taking out her assault rifle. Balogh nods and takes point, leading the way while you take up the rear guard with everyone else in between.

The five of you march into the forest quietly, your night-vision turned on.
