Time passes, and nothing seems to be happening for now. You glance down at your HUD's clock to see how much time has passed: twenty minutes has gone by since you returned to the Armadillo. You radio Balogh, asking him how much longer you'll have to wait before backup arrives. "According to the messages that I'm receiving…ETA is another five minutes. Shouldn't be too long now," he says neutrally.

A slight rustle takes place and everyone quickly hides, doing their best to stay hidden. Out of the forest, you see something emerging, and you gasp softly when you see who it is: Morgan. Behind her, you can see a small group of ten Shadows and two Beasts, marching along in an orderly formation. "Shit…" Larry whispers over the radio, apparently in awe over the sight. You have to agree with her; never did you expect to see Shadows and Beasts cooperating like this; according to the reports you've read, Beasts are usually found tearing Shadows into little pieces whenever the two are together.

"Wait…what's that?" Balogh says, and everyone turns to look behind the group. You gasp in surprise when you see another group of ten Shadows behind them, carrying something large and familiar: another giant Magitek engine artifact, similar to the one that you retrieved from the pirate's possession months ago.

"Okay…I didn't see that one coming," Larry says in shocked surprise over the radio.
