In five minutes, you're already at the hangar, staring hard at your suit. Your Viking suit stands in front of you, and you look at it for a while, thinking about the mods that Edgar installed into it for you. You know that the mods have proven useful to you all, but you're not sure if you should keep them in there, especially given Edgar's betrayal. Captain Altug has allowed you to keep the mods. She says that even if technology was created for the wrong reason, that doesn't mean it can't be used for the right reason. The base's technicians have also confirmed that the mods aren't tapped or broadcasting sensitive information in any way.

You glance at your suit for a while longer, then you decide to…

…have the mods removed from my suit.

No…you can't bring yourself to use the mods again after what Edgar did, and you call up the suit technicians on a nearby radio, asking them if they can help you remove the mods. "Sure can," a woman replies. "You want them out now?" she asks, and you tell her that you do. A few minutes later, a team of technicians come along and get to work on your suit, removing the mods that Edgar installed. After another thirty minutes, one of them turns to you and says, "All done."

You inspect your suit, impressed by the speed of their actions, and you note that they've also taken some time to make some repairs, as well. You thank them for their work, and she says, "No problem. Just get out there and do your job well, okay?" You nod and get to work on your suit, making sure that it's battle-ready for the upcoming mission. As you're finishing up with your final checks, your suit's radio buzzes, and you hear Altug says, "Troops, we've got a bigger problem than Fiends with stolen ancient Magitek engines right now." You blink in surprise and pay attention to Altug as she says, "We're getting satellite images coming from the enemy's location, and it appears that we have a massive number of Fiends, Shadows, Beasts, and even a few large ones amassing for a strike against us. We're recalling our orders, and you're now to get ready for a bigger fight against the Fiends. I repeat…"

It's like you lost the fight before you've even gotten a chance to start.

If you've reached this portion of the game, it unfortunately means that you didn't complete enough objectives and do not have the minimal amount of time needed in order to get through this stage of the game. Sadly, it necessitates a fresh restart of the game at this point, as the reload feature will only bring more frustration. As an added help, here is a checklist of the actions that you need to succeed at in order to have enough time to get past this stage.

Did you secure the first artifact engine from the enemy during the train mission? Did you choose to rescue the President or retrieve the artifact in Agartha? Did you retrieve the second artifact engine from the forest cave? Did you decipher the cryptic message? Did you secure the enemy's plans from Zawame Tower? Did you let Edgar go, or did you aid in his apprehension?

Good luck with your future attempt!
