Zhu nods. "Agreed. I wouldn't object to the chance to put a few of these animals down, but the mission comes first. If we can get out of here quietly, so much the better."
Zhu leans back against the opposite wall of the cage. "Very well, tonight it is. We should rest up. This will not be easy." Time passes slowly. You try to focus on the unaccustomed pleasure of being warm and dry, watching idly as the separatists go about their business in the cave. Eventually, things start to settle for the evening. Several of the guards start lying down to sleep on mattresses and sleeping bags scattered throughout the main chamber. There is no sign of Dolkar—she must be sleeping in her office next door.
Three of the guards stay up, clearly on watch duty, but their attention is hardly focused on you. Instead, they sit around, intent on a game of sho. They're laughing and needling each other, trying to keep their voices down to avoid disturbing their slumbering companions.
You and Zhu wait a little longer to allow the other guards to drift into a deep sleep. Then you turn your attention to breaking out.
The first obstacle is the locked door of your cage. You consider how best to proceed.
