It shouldn't be a problem.

He nods. "I will have one of my men keep watch. If you get in trouble, we will do our best to help you." He shakes his head slowly. "I can't believe I'm asking one man to take out fifteen cultists."

"He's no ordinary man." Kanow tells him, waving his fork at him. "He's a Sun Child."

How do you respond to Kanow's compliment?

Is there anything else I need to know?

Talandor shrugs. "Hopefully we have thought of everything."

After filling up on the breakfast, you and Kanow take off for the area Talandor has marked on a map. The cultists have taken over the local constabulatory, while the constable himself remains meekly inside the building that serves jointly as both the jail and his home. In the two small cells of the jail are apparently now fifteen sacrifices, five of which are small children.

The plan is for you to draw off the majority of cultists to the neighboring streets while Talandor and his band of thieves sneak into the jail and release those who are prisoners.

You instruct Kanow to wait in the area you plan to run to. Your plan is to walk by innocently, as if unaware of the presence of the cultists, and when they spot you, to run. You have a feeling they might fire arrows, and you have no desire to see Kanow shot. You are pretty sure the arrows can do little harm to you.

You proceed as planned and walk casually into the square that contains the city jail. A cultist, lounging lazily by the front door, sees you and yells, "Solarian!"

What do you do?
