I say, "Ramas."
"I'm going to release him now, Solarian." The priest informs you. "If you do anything, the hostages will die." He grins evily. "That is the thing about Solarians. This weakness for others' safety is easily exploited. How do you think we've killed so many of you?"
"Get it over with then," you reply. "And free these people you have taken."
The man grins and pushes Talandor toward you. He falls against you, wounded and barely able to stay on his feet. Your hands are bound by chains, and you can't catch him as he sags against you. You are able to squat down next to him as he falls to the ground.
"Solarians are not so easily killed in daylight," the priest informs you. "Besides, I have another purpose for you."
"I'm sorry," Talandor whispers.
You stare angrily at the priest. What do you tell Talandor?
