"Perhaps we need to see why the cultists are so interested in it."

"We can think about that once we manage to escape." He comments.

You nod. You don't know much about your own people, but the previous night, you spent some time reading your own journal. One of the exerts spoke of a smaller temple you had found where even at night you felt like you were standing in full daylight. It was like Solaron himself lived within his temples, and perhaps that was so. If that was the case, when the cultists brought you to the temple at night, you would be able to surprise them with your unexpected invulnerability. "I may be able to free us then, but we must look for any opportunity in the meantime."

Talandor doesn't respond to you. And you realize, suddenly, that he is gone, having vanished like quicksilver.

You scan the surrounding area. For only a brief moment, you see a shadow, darker than the rest of the night, that seems to be moving parallel to the wagon. You are sure it is him.

You watch that shadow for some time and notice it jump into the wagon with all of the children hostages. Nothing much seems to happen, but suddenly, as the children's wagon comes to a Y intersection in the road, the horses lead it down the wrong stretch of the Y.

You grin and realize he is saving the children. You see two cultists on horseback go after the meandering wagon.

Now, it is time for you to act. What will you do?
