One sword pierces into your side from behind, but it hardly matters. As soon as the pain registers, it is gone, healed in a heart beat, and a moment later, the culprit's head is rolling across the floor.

Talandor has stolen two dead men's swords and is killing two who are coming at you. As he does so, you wade through the remaining four, waving your sword from side to side as if threshing wheat. When the last falls, you look behind you. Talandor is staring at you with wide eyes.

"You are Aras Valkova," he whispers in awe.

For a moment, you look up at the statue. There is no doubt. It is your face on the statue. You are the lost king of the Solarians. It is something you will think about later. Now, you must free the hostages from the remaining cultists. "Let's get rid of the vermin." You say.

As you stride back outside, you expect for the night to drain you once you are no longer standing on the temple grounds, but the short sword you hold seems to be energizing you, and you feel as invulnerable as you do in full daylight.

The remaining cultists run in fear from you, and it is easy to free the frightened hostages from their bonds. After doing so, you return to the inside of the temple. You realize that your journey has not ended here. You will need to read these histories, discover what has happened to your people and what has happened to the god you once served, and rise up and destroy this new king and his death cult who have sought your extinction. You tighten your grip on the sword in your hand, feeling its power course through you, and look at the crowned statue of yourself. It is time, once again, to be king.
