"Ughh...Gawd! What the hell? Falling in recycle bins causes more pain than I thought! Now I know what they say 'Do not try this at home.' ..." I complained, struggling to sit up, which is hard since Eleanor is right on top of me, and like what I said a few moments ago, she sure is heavy.
"Hey...Hey!! Hello?" I said while trying to push Eleanor away from me, "Earth to Eleanor."
Since there are no replies for the past few seconds, I suppose that she might have fainted when we were falling.
What a pain in the ass.
With all the strength that I gained when I passed out for I don't know how long, I pushed Eleanor up, positioned myself in a sitting position, and 'gently' put Eleanor down beside me.
And what in the world is this smell? If I'm not wrong, which I'm not, we have fallen into the blue recycling bin (for recycling papers, cardboards, etc...), so it shouldn't have been this smelly.
"Oof! Wha- AHHHHH!!! HELPPPPP!!!" Eleanor sat up so forcefully that she knocked my head, and it felt like it's been cracked with a hammer.
"Oww! Calm down hammer-head. The monster didn't get us. And don't shout, please. My ears are ringing." I said while rubbing my forehead.
"Wha... W-where are we?" she stammered as she picked up the piece of paper that was on her hair and examined it.
"We fell into the blue recycling bin? Thank gods!!!!!" She prayed for a while, then continued, "I would have died if I fell into the green one (for recycling glasses.)"
"This isn't just you, you know. I'm here too." I said as I put my hand on my heart and make half fake tears and half of them are real tears from that we manage to get rid of the monster.
"Oh, shut up." She rolled her eyes and silenced me, but I decided to ignore her.
"So what are we gonna do now? We can't go back to class since the monster might still be there and we smell like barf right now." I asked and she looked at me as if I'm the dumbest person in the world.
"Bruh, are you seriously that dumb? We are going to ditch class, dummy." Eleanor sneered.
She then smoothed her jumpsuit, stood up, and climbed out of the recycle bin leaving me alone in it.
"Ah- Hey! Wait up! We are supposed to be a team, aren't we?" I half-shouted, also climbing out of the bin.
"Team? As if, we are parting our ways now. So don't go nagging me." She pointed her index finger at me, scrunched her face, and turned around to leave.
"Hey, did you forget? I still owe you a thank you. Or perhaps do you not want it?" That made her stop in her tracks.
The next thing she did was quite surprising.
After stopping, she turned around, grabbed my hand, and stomped away, still holding my hand, very tightly.
"This is just because you have some use after all, and also for the 'thank you you owe me, nothing else, got it?" she said angrily while looking back at me.
I caught up with her moments later and replied to her with a "yeah sure."
She released my throbbing hand (from the handgrip), and stormed towards the school gate.
I, too, followed beside her, minding my own business when she suddenly slowed down, so I guessed that she is already out of energy.
"You want to sit down for a while or something? You se--" I was cut short when someone came running towards us, soo quickly that we didn't have time to move away.
And so, all three of us were fallen to the ground with a loud thud.
"My butt has been cracked before and now it's cracked again! Seriously!?" I said my pain started to flow through my back.
"Ughhh!!! Again?? I have fallen down for quite an amount of times today! Such an unlucky day..." Eleanor complained.
Both of us looked up to see who is the one who bumped us and you will not believe who it is.
It's the guy who bumped me in the morning in the hallway! Lucky me! (That was totally sarcasm.)
"Hey! You're that guy! The hallway bastard!" I said while acting shocked.
"You know him?" Eleanor asked as she frowned.
"No, but we met this morning when I bum- no when he bumped me on the hallway to our class," I answered which made her sigh loudly. "What? You know him?"
"Yes but I wish I don't. He's a huge jerk who just so happens to be in my life." She said, standing up and dusting her jumpsuit again.
"Who did ya say 's a jerk?" The guy, who spoke up suddenly, made both me and Eleanor jump and turn to him.
"You are, Alex." Eleanor shot back.
"So your name is Alex?" I asked, only to be shot back by him.
I knew I shouldn't have asked that.
"Well duh? What else would it be? George?" Alex snickered.
"It's just a question, you jerk..." I mumbled but he heard it. I seriously need to work on my mumbling.
"Ya calling me a jerk? Ya wanna go?" He said, bringing his fit up preparing to punch me.
"Stop it, both of you." Eleanor stopped us while unintentionally saving my life."And, Alex, do you want me to call Aunt Martina? Want me to tell her you knocked me down and not apologize?"
Just by hearing the word, Aunt Martina made Alex quiver down. Must be his mom or someone he is scared of.
But that name rings a bell...I wonder who is it...
"That's what I thought. Now, tell me. Why are you running?" Eleanor continued, folding her arms.
"OH!!" My sudden 'oh' seemed to have snapped Alex out of his trance since he looked up in shock.
"What is it?" Eleanor asked, who also seemed to be shocked too.
"Aunt Martina, as in Mrs. Josephine Martina, our school's principal's wife?" I said while slamming my fist on my other hand.
"Hmm? Oh, yeah, she is. Now back to the question, Alex." Eleanor replied, turning her focus back to Alex again.
"Huh? Oh, right. Do-"
"Wait wait wait. If Mrs. Martina is your biological aunt," I point to Eleanor, who looked at me annoyed since I interrupted her again, "and if Mrs. Martina is your mom," I point to Alex, "then does that mean your cousins?!?"
"YES!! Thank you, Ms. Sherlock. Now can you let Alex finish?" Eleanor scolded, and I decided that it is best not to annoy her even more.
I silently celebrated myself for figuring that out.
"Eh-hem, as I was saying," Alex looked worried, then suddenly, his eyes opened wide and he point his finger at something behind us.
"Never m-mind explaining now. I-It's behind ya." Alex stammered, got up, and ran full speed to the school gates.
"What do you mean behind us- Jesus Crist it's here! Run!!" Eleanor screamed and started to run too.
As if I needed to be told to do that.
And as you could have guessed, yes, the monster thing is a few feet away from us, slowly crawling its way towards us.
Both three of us ran with the speed of light towards the gates, and since it isn't locked, the three of us barged out with enough force that could break a wall.
Then, we took a sharp turn towards the narrow and dark alley so that even if the monster could go through, it still won't see us.
After a few minutes of settling down, Eleanor was about to say something but something or someone came behind us and knocked all of us down.
