The Arannor Kingdom I

Voran had a big night ahead of him. He went through a battle he had never experienced before, and it assisted to calm his mind and feelings.

After a few days of resting and refining the Ki that roamed throughout his body. Voran's aura was much stronger than it had been.

After all was said and done, the soldiers had a good night's sleep. Voran made the decision to attack the Arannor Kingdom. He wasn't as nervous as he had been before; in fact, he was quite certain.

Furthermore, his confidence grew after learning about the Arannor Kingdom from his captives.

After receiving the orders, all of the soldiers prepared to rush at full speed. Voran did not abandon his two crucial captives and instead handed them over to Larsson.

He was the only one who could restrain the two of them if they did something unexpected.

Passing through an empty plain with only small grasses and various sized rocks. The trees are sparse in that location, allowing for a panoramic view of the entire area.

Because the lack of trees provided good visibility, they moved quickly in that area until they came across a forest.

When they got close to the forest. Voran slowed down and asked them to be more vigilant. When traveling through the forest, keep an eye out for unexpected events.

Despite the fact that there were a large number of them, an ambush attack could destabilize the entire situation and reverse their current good fortune.

"Griss Hainz, Werder Sian, what brings you here?" Voran noticed two men in full armor riding alongside him like bodyguards.

This piqued his interest. Instead of being around the troops, the two of them should have been leading them.

Griss Hainz rode calmly beside him. "Please forgive us, Your Majesty. We resigned from the position we were supposed to hold. All we want to do is protect His Majesty. We noticed His Majesty lacked a capable bodyguard. We feel compelled to remain in His Majesty's presence until we pass through this forest."

"It is our responsibility to protect His Majesty!" Werder Sian stated it unequivocally.

Anyone who sees his large body will be intimidated. Because of his large stature and sharp eyes, it's difficult to meet him face to face. After that, he straightened his back.

Voran didn't say anything after hearing the two of them respond. Yes, a forest with a narrow path and dense foliage makes an excellent ambush location.

Voran would be in a safer and more secure position if the two of them escorted him. He also does not have any bodyguards.

All soldiers are on high alert when they are in the forest. They walked in close formation, shields raised.

They were neither relaxed nor tense as they made their way down the narrow path. As they walked through the area, they pretended to be normal.

Their journey through the area appeared to be long but quick. Passing through an area rumored to have the potential to become an ambush point will undoubtedly add pressure and tension to the situation.

They discovered several villages after passing through the area. Voran did not order them to kill the residents; they were simply passing through in search of information.

"We're already getting close to their capital. We should take over their territories one at a time. However, it will take a long time and will almost certainly increase our losses. It's best to go straight to the capital and attack them. Victory will be ours for sure if we manage to assassinate their King." Voran began speaking as soon as he noticed a towering wall with a gate wide open.

He led his troops directly to their capital rather than through their territory one by one. Voran reasoned that they could annex the Arannor Kingdom's territory at a later date.

He was in front of his entire army this time, along with Veus. He took a look around, then at his troops. Unfortunately, they were unable to leap over the high wall. It could only be done by those with a high level of cultivation.

"Calm down, Your Majesty. I predicted it, and we started building the stairs a few days ago. This may not be enough to get past their defenses. However, we lack the mechanics required to create siege tools. Besides, as long as they have enough troops, they will not stay within the walls!" Richard Veus examined what was in front of him, while the soldiers prepared to climb the stairs to the wwall

Voran sat there listening to him with a puzzled expression on his face. It was difficult to claim that breaking down a defensive wall was simple.

Even if they have siege tools, they may not be able to defeat them. Voran carefully examined the defensive wall in front of him, looking for any gaps or weak spots.

Voran couldn't jump over walls despite having a fairly high cultivation among his troops. Such ability is only available to those who have already passed the 2-0 stage. Rather than being irritated or stymied by the situation in front of him.

He pondered how to overcome the impediment in front of him.

"We must send the best soldiers, as well as those with high cultivation and abilities, to the walls in order to breach their defenses. They must have discovered us. Veus, get everything ready and do it as quickly as you can. Don't be a slacker. The longer we wait, the stronger they will become, and surprise attacks will no longer be effective!"

Voran gave it to Veus while he was preparing some things because he would lead the entire army and fight on the wall.

They moved as soon as everything was ready. The gates had closed and the bells had rung, and the archers had fired their arrows, killing a large number of soldiers. The sound of war drums and trumpets heightened the situation.

They were right in front of Arannor's Royal Capital, which was guarded by a formidable wall dozens of meters high. The towering wall was obnoxious and put an insane amount of pressure on its soldiers.

Voran didn't care what his soldiers thought when they saw how strong the opponent's defense was because he had planned for this all along.

"Attack on them!! While attacking, fortify your defenses. Don't let your defenses slip before reaching the top of the wall. "Protect those who venture up there!" He yelled as he directed his troops to proceed.
