The Kingdom's Situation

During his recovery, Voran received reports from Fasuk and Veus on the progress of his realm, including the four territories they were currently attempting to control.

He will resign from his position as a regional leader as long as they support his government. According to Veus, he could only defend against one person, and they were currently in contact with him. Meanwhile, for the remaining three regions. Veus made the decision to attack him.

The attack was launched under Larsson's command and was carried out in a flash. The three territories that opposed the Salauster Kingdom's government were also subdued in a relatively short period of time. The three region leaders, as well as their families, were all assassinated without a trace.

Voran was not pleased with this information. He had anticipated it and was confident in the outcome. One piece of information that made him so happy that he smiled was information from the royal capital, aka Fasuk. The news brought news of diplomats sent by the Elaydric Kingdom to establish cooperative relations and non-aggression pacts.

Of course, he was overjoyed when he read it. The Edarecia Kingdom was the strongest and most dangerous of the three surrounding kingdoms. He felt he couldn't face it or work with the kingdom. His kingdom can only be neutral in the face of a kingdom with such a large area of power and threatening military power.

Voran hoped that by working together, he could build a strong fortress and launch an attack on the Sevaeni Kingdom. Of course, he wouldn't be the only one to assault him. Unfortunately, he was unable to make that decision at this time. He still had some issues to work out before taking that step.

He also obtained a scroll of reports from Stuart and the Intelligence Department detailing how they had increased their numbers and dispersed them throughout the kingdom. Despite the fact that his members lacked high abilities, Stuart had already given a report on the current state of affairs in his kingdom. As he read it, he got a sense of what life was like in his kingdom.

"After the clean-up, there was rioting. Can you finish it, Fasuk? You must also have a compelling reason for carrying out the plan. We won't be able to take advantage of it if Swaster Merran doesn't believe it."

Voran was concerned about the state of his kingdom. Furthermore, he had a plan that he had discussed with Fasuk ever since he made the decision to purge some of his kingdom's nobles. Of course, he needed an appropriate alibi to cover up such a heinous act.

He was unconcerned about the unconquered territories. Little by little, his kingdom's problems began to clear up, giving him a good idea of what steps he would take. The arrival of the Diplomat from the Elaydric Kingdom gave him hope as well.

In reality, he wished to eliminate the greatest threat that existed around him, which was none other than the Kingdom of Edarecia. Voran sat on the bed, going over every report that had been given to him. It is the major issues that capture his attention, particularly some legal issues that will emerge once the entire area has been integrated.

"I don't have to be concerned about food. Agricultural fields and areas that produce food sources are well protected within their territory. Security and law will undoubtedly be issues in the future if I am successful in annexing those territories. I need to get ready for it."

Voran wrote extensively about his ideas for the law and order he wished to establish in his kingdom. He was thinking about small problems while making it, as well as the biggest problem, rebellion. He did not hesitate to enact a draconian law on the subject. He did not hesitate to enact the three-generation law.

"It's cruel and heavy, but that's fine. There was never a word of forgiveness or pardon for the rebels. They deserved to die, and removing the seeds of discord was something I had to do from the beginning. So annihilating a rebel's family would solve everything. Perhaps this is cruel and will attract a large number of con artists, but that's fine!"

He scribbled on a scroll and kept it. He'd talk to Fasuk about it when he got back to Higgster City. He then closed his eyes for a brief moment and rested. Many things compelled him to think deeply. He was overjoyed that his condition was improving and that he was on the mend.

He was able to get out of bed the next day. He went out right away to assess the situation in the city he had already occupied. The palace was so magnificent that it made him feel uneasy, so he went to the garden in the palace's backyard. He sat quietly, taking in the peace and quiet. Several bodyguards, including Hainz, were nearby.

"Doesn't it have historical ruins like the others? Should I send a special expeditionary force to explore certain areas in search of such unique locations? It seems worth a shot. Maybe I'll come across something unexpected."

For the time being, nothing excites him more than a thrilling adventure. He wasn't the type of guy who liked that kind of thing, but he was intrigued. A light gust of air hit his face, causing his eyes to droop. He felt as if he was being put to sleep and did so a few minutes later.

While Voran was having a good time, Veus took care of some military matters. He enlisted former Arannor Kingdom soldiers and distributed them throughout his army to fill the void left by the many casualties of the previous war. During the recruiting process, he also discovered some promising young talent.

"His Majesty has agreed, and this is beneficial to military expansion. With such a large army, it takes a lot of talent to fill the open positions. It is difficult to find qualified or good talent. However, based on the list I currently have. II believe this is for the best!"

Selek Valaunter and Mival Belloc face each other inside the prison. Their skin was pale and thin. Their eyes were as dark and bleak as the abyss. They're both still hurt. They sat shakily, their hands cuffed on either side, stretched out.

"Huh!! Whoops!! Whoops!! What happened to you, Belloc, and how did you get here?" Valaunter inquired, pausing a few times to catch his breath. He lacked strength and had to deal with pain in various parts of his body.

" I'm not sure, Sir. Last time, I only remembered a fight with a young man my age or younger. The young man, on the other hand, was odd. When I fought him, he grew stronger in a matter of seconds. "The attacks continue to hurt to this day."

"A young man of extraordinary strength. Perhaps he is the King. In our world, you know who you are. Kings have blessings or powers that exceed those of ordinary people. If he was able to increase his strength in the blink of an eye, I can only imagine the King. Only kings have such power, especially in a place like this. It's not the end of the world if you lose."

"What will become of us now, sir? Are we going to be put to death?" Belloc couldn't get it out of his mind.

Selek Valaunter gently shook his head. "Argh! No, I don't believe so. They must want to hire us. That I am certain of. They will not kill us because they rely on us to keep the kingdom under control. They will undoubtedly expand the military, and people like us will be desperately needed. Don't worry, Belloc, you can make whatever decision you want; I'm sure your family is waiting for you out there."

"Are you not the same, Master? Why are you acting as if you've decided to turn down whatever offer they make? Are you sure you're going to refuse them, sir?" Mival Belloc's face was filled with uncertainty as he stared at the Valaunter, who was adamant in his response.

His stern demeanor could be seen as he clenched his fists so tightly that the chains and handcuffs shook. At the time, the two were discussing their fate. Voran walked in with calm steps, accompanied by Hainz and a few bodyguards.

"It appears that I arrived at the right time." When he saw the two of them, Voran's smile faded.
