Meeting

What Voran didn't realize was that the Edarecia Kingdom began to move and took a firm stance. They sent a medium-sized troop to the border, which appeared to be border reinforcement. However, viewed from another angle, their actions resembled a threat or a warning to the Salauster Kingdom. Voran, as King of the Kingdom, could not allow the Edarecia Kingdom's actions to take place.

Accepting this situation was difficult for him. Voran sensed danger approaching the Kingdom of Salauster as a result of the Kingdom of Edarecia's actions. Furthermore, he had not yet made contact with the Sevaeni Kingdom. Perhaps if he could establish cooperation with the Sevaeni Kingdom, this kind of thing wouldn't be so bad. Unfortunately, this has not yet occurred. As a result, the situation at the border made Voran nervous.

"I need to talk to the three of them about it. I'm hoping Valaunter, Larsson, and Veus have a plan in place to deal with this. Without any knowledge of the Edarecia Kingdom's power, particularly the influential power within the kingdom. It's difficult for me to move the troops. This kingdom's survival will be jeopardized if I make a mistake. Constant warfare will erode the kingdom's power. However, without war, surviving the surrounding situation is difficult!"

Voran awaited the arrival of the expeditionary force with bated breath. Not because anything was wrong with their actions. He was concerned about the Edarecia Kingdom's sudden movement. If he did not respond to their actions, his kingdom might suffer a crushing blow. He wasn't sure if they were planning an attack or just guarding the border. However, based on this development, Voran was convinced that the Edarecia Kingdom's intentions were not good.

The expeditionary force's return went off without a hitch. Their numbers had not decreased significantly, and they were exuding a far more fierce and powerful aura than before they had set out. Larsson and Veus immediately met Voran upon their return, while the rest was given to Veus's lieutenants. They both sensed something out of the ordinary the moment they stepped into the palace, let alone saw Selek Valaunter.

Larsson and Veus came across Selek Valaunter. They were startled and became more alert right away. However, after a few moments of scanning their surroundings, their vigilance began to wane. They can tell when nothing is wrong with their surroundings. So Selek Valaunter's presence did not indicate anything dangerous. Larsson accelerated his pace, and in one swift stride, he was in front of Selek Valaunter, exerting intense pressure.

"What has brought you here, Valaunter? Have you abandoned His Majesty to serve the Salauster Kingdom?" Larsson smiled, his face cold and his eyes sharp. He didn't dismiss Selek Valaunter. Despite the fact that this man is frequently referred to as a tough and mighty old Marshal. He was well aware that this man's mind was superior to that of ordinary generals.

"Yes, I did seek refuge in His Majesty," Selek Valaunter sighed and smiled helplessly. "What else could I do but pick this? I was able to keep the situation in the Aran Province stable by seeking refuge in the Salauster Kingdom. Because the residents and their families rely on me, I can only make this decision."

"Hahaha... you're correct. You did not make the incorrect decision. Serving His Majesty will bring Aran Province security and prosperity. I'm confident that with you in charge, this place will run smoothly. The locals will listen to you and see you as a role model. However, Valaunter, keep one thing in mind. Don't act like a traitor; if I find out, I'll flatten your entire grip!" Larsson exclaimed coldly.

With the addition of Selek Valaunter, the kingdom's power will increase, as will the number of cultivators. There are currently only a few people with high cultivation or generals who can set strategies and have capable fighting abilities. As a result, some power additions will increase the kingdom's power, which is a very good thing.

Not long after, Voran appeared, his warm smile masking the worry that had been bothering him for some time. Voran sensed tension between the three of them, and the air around them was thick with it. After what had happened recently, no one could deny this kind of thing. Selek Valaunter's surrender was relatively quick given that the war had just ended.

"Oh, the three most powerful people have already met. Excellent. I hope you can collaborate to make the kingdom better and more prosperous. However, there is a situation that is getting in the way right now, and we must change our previous plans. I didn't like it and didn't expect it to happen. But what kind of power? Everything is taking place right in front of our eyes. I'm hoping you can enlighten me!"

Voran's voice rang out, drawing the attention of the three of them. They immediately bowed down and cupped their fists when they saw Voran. Their expressions were solemn and filled with self-assurance. Their thoughts, on the other hand, raced as soon as they heard Voran's concern.

The situation deteriorated to such a shocking level as a result of someone learning of the Salauster Kingdom's victory over the Arannor Kingdom. The man had no idea how the war could have ended so quickly. Furthermore, he saw his kingdom's chaotic situation and could only move a small portion of the kingdom's power to the border.

Voran took a serious look at the three of them in that palace hall. He noticed their calm expressions but was thinking about something deeper. He didn't say anything and waited for their reaction to this awkward situation.

"Has anything bad happened in Higgster City, Your Majesty? Did something cross the line? If Your Majesty does not say so, we can only guess based on what we see around the kingdom," Veus said in a deep and calm voice. He really considered some of the problems that might arise, particularly those from the other three kingdoms.

Larsson cocked his brow slightly when he heard that. He had no idea how bad things were going to get. It would be disastrous if the three kingdoms began to move, even if one of them moved to attack the kingdom. Especially when it comes to the Edarecia Kingdom. Surely, the situation would be dire. It would be a difficult task to bring the Aran Province back to normalcy. The situation would undoubtedly worsen if war broke out.
