5 and a Half Year
"Wake up Yuno breakfast is ready!"
"Give me five more minutes no five years"
"Stop being so dramatic and wake up before I eat your food"
"Alright I am coming you glutton"
Getting of the old bed with drowsy eyes I went to the mirror and looked at myself. I had unruly short black hair my eyes were of an amber colour and a necklace was around my neck Leaving the shabby yet clean room, I went into the dining room where I saw father Orsi feeding the two babies they were Nash who was half year old and Recca who just join our family one week ago I could also see Asta munching down his breakfast.
"Good morning father Orsi"
"Good morning, Yuno"
After saying my greeting, I went to my breakfast it was fried tatoes, egg and sausage. As I began eating Asta was already finished and seemed to be choking on the fried tatoes. I gently slide the cup of water that was beside me to Asta who hurriedly drank it.
"Why are you in a rush so early in the morning?"
"I wanted to start my training early that's why"
Asta was not like this half a year ago but ever since he found out he could not use magic he would train by trying to move the water in the pot, try to make a fire and do a lot of exercise. I would usually join in his training from time to time to help him out.
"Alright I am leaving to my secret training spot bye"
After saying that Asta ran outside with full speed toward his supposedly 'secret' training spot
"Asta what I have something to tell you and Yuno"
Father Orsi shouted at Asta but he was already gone.
*sigh*"so energetic in the mourning whatever he is going to find out later at noon anyways"
"What are you talking about father Orsi?"
"A new family member will be joining us and she should be coming at noon"
After hearing this I knew it was sister Lily that was coming since it would have fit with the timeline. Damn now Asta is going to get louder than he already is I have nothing against the guy but his screams can make ears bleed in fact he is the reason why I was now able the use magic
*Flashback*
"AAAAAAHHHHH"
In a certain part of an old church, you could hear a baby's cry. The baby was crying so much that the entire blanket that was cover him was wet.
' Damn it Asta you could have wait just 30 minutes until Orsi came back before getting hungry now I have to stay beside you while you cry'
But as much as Yuno wish for Asta to stop crying he just keep crying and it got louder by the second until Yuno had enough.
'SHUT UP!'
In the next moment the noise disappeared and what was left was utter silence.
'Did it work no that is impossible I doubt Asta would just shut up something is wrong'
'No something is wrong I cannot hear anything the twerp of the bird nor the children that were playing outside. It is quieter than my DM's '
After thinking that, I had a weird sensation that felt like something was leaving my body.
'Did I just use mana'
It did not take me long to realize what was happening.
'Since I have wind magic, I must have used my mana to stop the vibration of the air cause this silent zone' [A/N: In simpler terms he stopped the movement of air]
After figuring out what happen I decided to stop the flow of mana and what arrive was Asta crying
'I should have left it on'
*Flashback End*
That how I learn how to use magic by visualizing what I wanted to happen then make the mana in my body to flow out creating the spell. I also decided to call that spell [Dead Zone] a fitting name.
"Alright bye father Orsi"
After finishing my breakfast, I got ready to leaving I had my own things to do after all.
"Alright just bring back Asta before dinner"
"Okay"
After saying my goodbye, I left the church and began walking down the pathway.
[Third POV]
As Yuno walked down the pathway, he saw people farming using magic somewhere using earth magic to make wake to plant seeds and somewhere using water magic the water their plants. Yuno did not pay attention because the scene became mundane to him. As he kept on walking for another 10 minutes, he reaches the entrance of a small forest to the west of the village. As he kept on walking you could see marks on the tree that he passed.
Going a bit deeper in the small forest there was a clearing. If you looked around you could see dozens of logs to the side, a giant bolder in the centre of the clearing and a few trees that had target marks on them and few other trees had deep cuts on them. This area was Yuno's personal training that he has been training in for the past year.
After doing a few stretches he got ready to do his training, he then out stretches his hand and cast a spell.
"Alright let's begin [Dead Zone]"
Mana burst forth from his hand and went across the training ground it then slowly forms a dome around the cleared area.
'Unlike the first time I used [Dead Zone] this is a new and improved version. In which I create dome around myself that any sound that touches it disappear. That means anyone on the inside cannot communicate with anyone on the outside and vice versa, you would have to be on the inside to communicate'
"Now that no one can hear me now let begin"
Yuno then turned toward one of the trees that had a target mark on it.
"[Crescent Wind]"
As Yuno stoke his hand across the air, he cast a spell and what appeared was a crescent blade that was made out of wind. The crescent blade rushed toward the tree that had the target on it with high speed it then cleaves through it hitting the tree behind it leaving a deep cut. The tree toppled over and hit the ground creating a loud noise.
'I have been mostly training on my accuratesse and the strength of my spells. I can now easily cut through the centre of a tree with no effort 20 meters away from me and my mana consumption has lessened. I can do the spell 9 more time in a row and would only lower my mana capacity by 1/5'
"But todays training is going to be different my goal is to increase my physical strength by learning how to use [Reinforcement Magic] after all i don't want to be wizard that only relay on my spells. My goal is to use [Reinforcement Magic] and move the tree I just cut down to the others at the side. I already understand how [Reinforcement Magic] works I just need to know implement it without wasting to much mana"
"Will I have until noon and that's 5 hours from now so let's begin"
