Antagonist LvL up (long chap)
[Yuno POV]
A ball of fire approached us at high speed but to me it was moving slow. Out stretching my hand and casting [Reinforcement Magic] on it, I caught the ball. Crushing it into my palm sparks scattered around me.
"Are you alright granny Kira"
With a shock face she turn towards me
"Yeah, I am fine but your hand..."
"don't worry about it couldn't even scratch me"
With a relieve face she and I turned back to the culprit responsible of the fire ball which was still firing more fire balls at the neighbor's buildings.
The culprit had different colored hair, a light grey hair at the top, black hair at the sides. Additionally, he also sports a black mohawk. On his face was a straight-line mark with six dots at left side of his forehead. He wore a dark grey shirt covered by a dark blue jacket and a dark blue pants
'So that's the young Magna nothing is different about him except him being taller in the cannon'
"That brat always making a ruckus and troubling the town's folk"
"Then why don't you stop him don't you have anyone to give him a good beating?"
"Unfortunately, not that boy Magna has better control over mana than the adults in the town. Whenever an adult tries to punish him, he would find a way to use the little mana he has and beat them with it. It is sad really; he is the most talented youth in our town but he is also ruffian"
'She does have a point when I saw Magna fire ball coming towards us, I could sense that it was made by condense mana it was not a Ingenious idea but implementing it was difficult'
"But why is he throwing fire balls anyway?"
"I asked him once and he said "it's to mark my terf" whatever the hell"
I understood what he was now trying to go after all I did come from a modern era similar to how a cat would their scents on items to mark their territory, he was doing the same.
"Then just call a magic knight and let them deal with him"
After saying this I mentally slap my forehead
'How could I forget we are in the forsaken realm were where town folks would threat their neighbors as family since and would not sell them out to the magic knight for something like a child in his rebellious phase'
"We did"
'I stand corrected'
"But you know how some magic knight can be since they are from well endued or noble family they think it is beneath them to come help us people in the forsaken realm unless it is for their personal gain in fact, I have only seen them come to the forsaken realm if they found a dungeon"
*ppuuhh*
Spitting to the side Kira clicked her tongue think about how 'helpful' the 'noble' magic knight is when man came out of the house where Magna was currently throwing his fire balls at
"Little bastard you better stop or else"
Saying this the man took out his grimoire and started casting a spell
"Or else what? you use one of your flimsy spells at me"
Retorting to back at the man Magna started to condense his mana creating two fire balls in his hand
"You asked for its brat [Earth Magic: Rock Cannon]!!"
Casting his magic, a large rigid rock created out of mana appeared infront of the man. In the next moment it shoots forward towards Magna who had a grin on his face.
I was not concern in the lest for Magna safety but for the man next door. The spell he cast was nothing special in fact I would not even call it a spell more like throwing dirt.
The mana simple just used mana and that's it he did not construct the rock properly, while it was going towards Magna, I could see the framework already collapsing ever so slowly struggling to keep it structure. [A/N: not saying that the man was wrong to only use mana but without concentration and a proper framework of a spell it will slowly collapse similar to a building with inferior work although with enough mana it does not matter]
Magna still grinning throwed one of his fire balls at the incoming rock.
*BBBBBBOOOOOOOMMMMM*
As both spells clashed with each other an explosion took place between Magna and the man. Using the explosion to his advantage Magna throwed his other fire ball at the man.
'I guess I have to intervene or else that man his seriously going to get a third degree burn from Magna's attack'
Using [Reinforcement Magic] on my feet to boost my speed I instantaneously appeared in front of the man. Just like before reinforcing my hand with mana I caught the incoming fire ball aimed at the man's head and crushed it.
The man surprise at the sparks of flame in his face felled backwards hitting his head on the floor
"Are you alright there?"
Turning around I ask the man that was on the ground. Even though I have stopped and crush the fire ball its sparks could have still hit and harm him since it was made from condense mana.
"H-huh yeah, I am fine but... how did you get infront of me?"
"don't worry about it"
Turning back around I looked at the shocked Magna and granny Kira. Making I contact with the stunned Magna I spoke
"Has no one told you to not bully the elders"
[Asta POV]
The two arrows flew across the snow-covered field, reaching its target one of the arrows being a MSA impacted on the Arcas shoulder creating a crack on the ice that protected it. Although the bear was protected it still affect him, it staggered to the side into the other arrow's trajectory which being was an enhanced arrow. It pierced the Arcas side and almost one of its organs.
*RRRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR*
The Arcas felling the pain roared at me with rage and determination in its eyes. But what it did next surprised me it froze the wound and arrow shut breaking the arrow in the process
"That explain why his previous wound are no longer bleeding he froze them shut! Fight fair you bastard"

'He is getting closer and closer I need a way to stop him in his tracks'
Taking out a MSA I shoot it forward but instead of aiming it at the Arcas bear I shoot it the path the bear was run in creating a large size pothole. As the bear ran it did not have time to stop and avoid the pothole one of his paws fell into it cause it the trip and roll across the snow filled plane [A/N: MSA stands for Mana Stone Arrow and Mana infused Arrows/heavy green hue arrows are now called enhanced Arrows]
Taking advantage of the now rolling Arcas beer I took out one of the emergency arrows it had a white green color emitting from it, cocking it on the bow I aimed it at the Arcas heart. Releasing the bow string a loud thunderclap followed in its place.
The arrow was fired off at supersonic speed literally tearing through the air only leaving a strong gust of wind behind blowing my hair wildly and the snow around me away it almost even blowed away the camping tent.
Sensing the incoming danger, the Arcas bear tried to twist his body but was not fast enough to completely dodge the supersonic arrow. The arrow pierced the Arcas chest only a few centimeter's away the heart and flew out through his back. Although it did not hit its intended target it did pierce through the Arcas lungs.
Falling to the ground havening in pain the Arcas coughed out blood but was still looking at me.
'Wow now I understand why Yuno said to only use it for emergency. My bow can't even handle the stress that arrow bring if I had to guess I could use it one more time before it breaks"
Feeling relieved that the Arcas is has stop approaching Asta sighed release the tension that was around him
"I hope he does not get back up" [A/N: flagged you know the rule and so do I ~ ~ ~]
'Power, I need more power if it weren't for my weak amour, if it weren't for my exhaustion, if it weren't, if it weren't, if it weren't, if it weren't, if it weren't, if it weren't, if it weren't, if it weren't, if it weren't for that human I would not be bleeding out on the ground'
'I need more strength more more more more more more more more more more more more more more'
Thinking this the Arcas started to exuded large amount of mana that even the creature watched from a far distance could feel it, I not feeling anything was unaware, a blue hue started surrounding the Arcas, its wounds slowly being froze shut and more ice spread across his body
Now caughting my attention, I looked back at the Arcas bear that slowly started to stand back up the once hole it its chest being frozen shut and more iced covered its body my facial expression stayed stoic throughout the whole event
A snow storm surrounded the Arcas bear and the only thing that I could see was it now blue glowing eye
"Is it fricking evolving !!"
In the next moment the Arcas bear answered my question it came out of the small snowstorm reviling its appearance. It was now completely covered in ice shaped armor except for a few parts his eyes that where once grey turn blue.
"Yes, yes it did evolve"
The Arcas raised it right gauntlet cover paw, large amounts of mana started to surround it the snow that was falling also started to circle it. As the Arcas slammed this paw on the ground large columns of glaciers rushed towards me
Jumping to the side I dodge the incoming attack but a few of the supply that where behind me was completely destroyed
"Ah just great now he has a long-range attack"

It now no longer ran towards me it simply walked exudeding its newly found power
'I can't use that arrow again or I will lose me the little long-range advantage I still have. Let's see if the arrow still even works on him'
Take out two different types of arrows I shoot them toward the Arcas, as the two arrows impacted on the Arcas armor the once explosion that would crack the ice that covered it barely left a scratch and the once piercing arrow bounced off the armor .
'The fight is going to get more difficult now'
