Hot Springs

[Yuno POV]

After coming back from Notch house and flying on my broom, I could see from a above ice spikes and snow covered in large amounts of blood making a trail. Following it what I saw surprised me, I saw a carcass of an ice armoured bear with a hole in its head and someone sleeping next to it.

That person was obviously Asta but he was partially covered in blood and his leg bend in an unusually position and his left arm was covered in ice. [A/N: Can someone put a gif or pic of Caleb city when he broke his leg falling from the stairs here thx]

Quickly flying down towards him I had a worried expression on my face

'I only left him for an hour what the hell happened here!?'

Reaching him I jumped down from my broom and knelt beside. Now getting a better view of him I could now see the expression on his face, he had a large grin from showing his blood covered teeth. Checking his pulse from his right hand to make sure that he was still alive, I breathed a sigh of relief felling the pulse from his artery.

"Good he is still alive but his condition is not good, I can use healing magic on him but his leg is going to need more time and his right hand needs hot water on I before it gets a deep frostbite"

Saying this I took up Asta and carried him on my back, looking back at the bear corpse wandered what I should do with it. I decided to carry it with me along with a few of our camping supply, using my wind magic I made it levitate, getting back on my flying broom we flew straight into the sky. Now being high in the sky I could see everything from our camp to the hot springs we were planning to go to.

Flying towards the hot spring as quick as I can, I could hear a faint noise behind me, it was the sound of someone's stomach gruelling

'He must be starving after all he did fight for his life. Hmmm I wander can you cook a bear? I think you can but I have to watch out for Trichina spiralis though'

Reaching to the hot springs I lay Asta beside it and but the bear's corpse and our supply on the rock that surrounded the hot spring

[A/N: I HAVE DIECIEDED THAT I WILL ALWAY ADD A FUN TIP OR ADVICE IN EVERYONE OF THE CHAPTERS I WILL MAKE THAT INCLUDE OTHER FANFICS so just in case you need]

"Alright I should start with his arm, but I cannot just immediately put it in hot water if I did his nerves will get damage so I should damp it bit by bit until the ice is off his skin then but it in hot water"

[A/N: Fun fact whenever you have a frostbite you should not immediately put hot water on it but instead damp the frozen area with hot water until the ice is removed or your skin gains back a little more color then put it in hot water]

Taking out a towel from the supplies I put it in the hot spring, making wet and hot I slowly damp Asta frozen left arm with the towel. The ice slowly melted off and I could now see his skin, it was pale white but I did not have to worry since most of the hard part was already over.

Slowly putting his left arm into the hot springs, I went on to heal his broken leg

'Sorry Asta but this will hurt... a lot'

Holding his bend leg, I gripped tightly on it. Taking in a deep breath I straighten it, a loud scream reverberated throughout the area. Asta woke up screaming from the extreme pain he felt in his leg but before he could scream any more a hot wet towel was shoved into his mouth.

"Calm down it will hurt for a while so bite down on the towel and let me concentrate"

With tears in his eyes and a bit of confusion of what is happening, Asta nodded and bite down hard on the towel. Seeing that he understood a bit of the situation I continued my treatment and cast a spell

"[Wind Healing Magic: Healing Wind]"

Casting the spell, a light green breeze appeared, it slipped through Asta wound healing the broken bone, fixing the tear tissue, healing his pale hand and finally closing the wound

"Alright done you can take the towel out of your mouth now"

Taking the towel out of his mouth Asta ask a question at me

"What took you so long to get back"

"Wellllllllll....."

[Time Magic: 10 minutes ago]

Looking to the right I say a porterage, walking closer to it to view it better I could now see what was drawn on it. It had four people painted on it albeit one of the people was torn off. It had man, a woman and two...children. Looking more closely at the porterage especially at the kid in it I realise who it was and who's house this

"This kid is Nacht and this is his family house"

I finally realize why this house felt familiar, although it only came up in one episode it had special meaning. Since underneath this house is a basement where devil summoning accrues and even though devil summoning stops, I could still sense traces of negative mana in the house.

Walking around the house pass the debris I reach the location that had the most negative mana in it. The room had a run-down bookshelf, a dirty couch, a painting on the ground and a rug. I could feel the negative mana permeate the room from underneath.

"The negative mana must be coming from the basement but if I am not incorrect the only way to get there is by using [Shadow Magic]"

*sigh* "and I wanted to see it oh well, there still should be some valuable things in this house"

Going toward the bookshelf that was leaning on the wall, I search through the books that was on it

The Duchess Secret Knight, The Fallen Noble, By the Medo, The Prince's lover and Under the Moonlight. The first shelf was filled with either romance or smut novels it surprised me because the one thing that each of them had in common was that they had a female lead who was a noble

'Was Nacht mother unhappy with her husband and was having an affair!'

It would not be unusually for that to happen; many female nobles would have secret lover and whenever other found out gossip would spread across the kingdom. The last gossip I heard was 2 months ago it was about a duchess sleeping with her husband's brother, they got caught in their private villa at the cost. Even though I was used to this kind of drama it still excited men

On the second shelf it held books about magic, taking up one that caught my eye its title was Magic Runes and Applications volume 6. As I was about to read through it, I sense a large amount of mana north east of here which was at the camp site.

"I will read you later right now I have to check out what is happening"

Saying this I left the room and headed outside, jumping back on my broom but before leaving I looked back at the ruined house

'I will come back soon'

Taking my leave, I flew off into the sky leaving behind the ruined house.

[Time Magic: Present Time]

"welllllll...... I got distracted but once I felt the burst of mana, I rushed here so tell me what happen even though I might have a vague idea already"

Patting the book that was in y pouch Asta began telling me about how everything happens: how the Arcas evolved during the fight and how the black arrow I gave him did the killing blow.

"Hi Yuno what was that black arrow anyways"

"Oh, that arrow was one of my experiments gone wrong but it still helps me, in fact you are lucky to be alive. The arrow is pretty much a special one-use magic tool that whatever it penetrates it will decay but what I don't understand is why you did not use it before the bow broke?"

Shrugging Asta replied

"I did not know it would be so powerful or else I would have used long ago"

"Yeah, I should have told you earlier instead of trying to be one of those cliche masters that tell you 'You are too young or go search for the answer'. Anyway, it is best if you don't put too much pressure on that leg of yours, I might have healed it but your bone is still fragile "

"Alright I will be careful but can I still go in the hot springs"

Remembering why we even came here Asta asked if he could still go in the hot springs.

"Yeah, sure but what are you going to do with the Arcas corpse since it's your kill you get to keep the spoils"

"We can sell some of the fur and used the rest to make coats for the guys back at the church, but forget about that I am starving what can we eat?" 'I will ask the tailor to make a coat for Yuno that would be a good birthday present'

"Well almost all of our food supply is gone but I can cook up the Arcas meat for dinner how about it"

"Sure, thing but before we... you start cooking let's get in the hot spring since that's the reason why we came here in the first place"

Saying this Asta took off his cloth quickly and jumped into the hot spring

"CANNONBALL!!"

Water splashed everywhere and some on my clothe as Asta jumped into the hot spring.

'He is right I am bit tiered myself what I need is a nice relaxing time in the hot springs'

"AH MY FOOT MY FOOT"

Looking back at Asta that fractured his foot again I sighed

"I would heal you that was your own fault after I told you, your bone is fragile"

Taking off me clothe I entered into the hot springs and looked up into the sky it was clear unlike during the day when it was snowing. The stars shing brightly in the night sky captivating me, making me relax even more. After that we spend two days caping and healing Asta injuries before heading home

[A/N: Finally, i had to write over everything because the doc that had the OG chap was not working but i did it i finish. Anyways this chapter is the end of the fill after this is the final conflict then on to cannon i know you guys have been desperately waiting for it but it takes time also support me by giving ore power stone so the fanfic can get popular bye se you guys]
