Problems

"Of course, I know it's awkward to talk, but necessary," I said. They all nod. I heard a knock, and I opened the door with magic, and Maggie walked in. "Guys, Dean, as being trying you four," Maggie said with a slight huff.

"What is the matter?" I asked.

"It related the news to Dan," Maggie said with a cautious gaze looking over to my shoulder, and I could feel the air change quickly in tension. Maggie strode to the room, and our eyes looked at her. "Dean said that they recovered a decomposed body, and they did an autopsy, and they found the DNA of Dan matched with it."

I see Colton's face pale, and our worried gaze meets Colton, who stands like a statue. "I am going back to meet Dean and see this," Colton says, leaving the room with a sorrowful aura, and we didn't dare to stop him at all.

"We need to speak with Dean, who leads the team now when colton has left," Maggie said.

"I will be taking over," Hudson said, and we three looked at him in shock. "Don't stare at me. Dean had informed me if things go south and Colton loses his wolf; I should step in." He explained, and I still looked at the doorframe from where Colton had left.

"I am just worried for Colton," I muttered.

"We are to Aria. Colton took care of his brother and loved him so much." Xavier explained with a worried tone.

"Why don't you finish up this mission quickly and head back to support Colton," Hudson suggested, and I nodded. We all sat quietly for some time. Maggie went to make some breakfast for us. "Guys, I forgot to tell you something." Three of them looked at me.

"Last night, I don't do I see right or not. Mia, she tried to hide something with magic." Hudson's eyes widen, and Xavier looks at me with the same expression.

"Then why don't we go back and see," Maggies suggested.

"It won't be useful at all. Because I feel they are up to something." Xavier said; I looked at him and felt he knew more.

"You know something," Hudson asked Xavier.

"Aria brought some topic regarding Eva." Xavier's emerald gaze looks at me with a smirk. So is going to speak about Eva's truth to the team. " Eva is trying to Kill me…." Maggie's jaw dropped, and so did Hudson's. Xavier explained everything, and they looked at me as Xavier narrated how I became acquainted with him. "Gods.." Maggie said as she slowly took Xavier's words in.

"Why did you trust us with this information?" Hudson asked in a sour voice.

"Well, I hated you and Colton after Eva's shit show. I thought you would still hold Eva dear." Xavier said with a disdainful voice, and Hudson scowled, hearing the reason. "So you walked to Aria, a stranger, and asked for help," Hudson asked.

"Yes, because I feel her aura, and I don't. I felt to get acquainted with help with that," Xavier said, defending their voice.

"Let us stop you both," I growled.

"That is not an important topic. Xavier articulated everything: what do you have updates on Eva." I asked, and He sighed. Hudson kept his poker at my words, and Maggie noticed their quick attitude change.

"What stranger is after I took Eva to my realm, everything problem took place?" Xavier sipped on hot coffee. "The rebels within gain power from Eva and money and magic stone to go against me, and they said they plan to help Eva for my murder. This information I got from the rebels before their Death." I gasped in shock and had the same reaction Hudson and Maggie had held.

"So why don't you take action against Eva?" I asked.

"Can't because he lacks evidence to raise against the Coven," Hudson said, and Xavier nodded solemnly in acknowledgment.

"That bitch is too much," I growled. " Don't know why Eva will do like that when she shows interest in you and Also Hudson and Colton."

"She is a Psycho lady," Maggie said.

"She is," Hudson added.

"I brought Eva last night. I felt the Hex team's behavior was weird." Xavier said.

"So let us monitor Hex during this mission," Hudson added. "Let us do one thinking, Xavier and Maggie, tonight. You guys look at Hex teams activity, and I am taking Aria to speak with the victim's family and find any clue or link to help us."

****

After work, Hudson came to pick me up, and we went to the victim's home and asked about every detail. They helped us with every question we asked. It was painful to speak with crying families about their loss. I take every detail given by the victim's family after we cover some houses and teleporting here and there.

"You are tired," Hudson asked, and I nodded.

"Let us end our mission for the day," He said, and I smiled, thanking him for understanding.

While I have dinner in Hudson's room, Hudson opens his bottle of blood and drinks. He looks at me. He was seeing if I was comfortable with him drinking blood in front of me. "I don't mind, Hudson," I muttered. "Let us study the case and find the similarities," I say, and Hudson Joins me, and we sit for hours and write the similarities.

I finally groan in pain at my shoulders and stretch myself, and Hudson is still concentrating on the documents. He doesn't look tired. I get jealous of these guys having immortals. Unlike me, I am mortal.

I didn't want to disturb Hudson, so I put on some earplugs and relaxed. I saw Hudson's room is more spacious than mine.

Music helps me to relax, and I move with beats. I felt my sad mood-lifting, missed my step, and my body hit the hard rock wall. I look to see Hudson, who held me from falling to the ground.

"You are weird." He said with a sigh, still his hand on me, and I felt embarrassed again. I try to get away from him. But he held me in place, and his ocean-blue eyes looked at me intensely.

"Hudson," I whispered to break them, but his intensity grew, and I felt my heart race and his face close to me. I closed my eyes, thinking he would kiss me, and I didn't feel his lips against me. Hudson smirked at me as I opened my eyes, and I felt embarrassed that his hand still encircled my waist. I broke off his grip to get away from him.

"Did you find anything?" Did I ask, trying to avert my gaze from him? His Breath came to my neck, and I still felt my body heat. "Nothing yet, but you keep distracting me as you jiggle." I didn't dare to turn to face him because I could feel the smirk on his handsome face.

"Let us get to work back ." I distanced myself from him, and I walked back towards the sofa. Suddenly, I felt Hudson on my wrist as he pulled me towards me; before I could understand, his lips met mine, and I gasped and saw the opening; he slid his tongue to deepen the Kiss. It felt so feverish, and I could Hudson want in that kiss.

His kiss trailed to my neck, and I could feel his fangs on my neck, but Hudson felt hesitant to drink from me. I exposed my neck to him and his ocean eyes that had a red glow and saw me give him the consent; he groaned in pleasure as his fangs pierced my neck, and I felt the fun run through my body. As Hudson took out his fangs and licked my neck seductively, that hitched my breath. I felt my breath so hot and heavy, and a knock on the door jolted us apart, and I heard a low growl of pissed come from Hudson, who hated the interruption. Hudson looked over at me to see if my neck was healed from the puncture. His heated gaze also landed for a second on my body as if he were touching me through his eye, and the Frantic knock broke the spell again.

The door opened to See Xavier and Maggie walking with injuries. My eyes widened in shock, and so did Hudson, who led them in. I rushed to Heal, Xavier and Maggie first. I used my healing magic, and after I healed them, a sweat broke on the forehead from exhaustion, and Hudson sat on the couch.

"Hex is the traitor," Xavier said, and my eyes widened in surprise. Hudson's gaze regarded them, urging them to tell us more about the information they gained. "They are working with Vrericks. Can you believe that?" Maggie growled.
