Dark Academy

My name was called up, and I walked to the stage alone with no one's parent or clan head. I felt the eyes of sympathy gaze on me while some held no emotions. I ignored that gaze and stepped to the stage, and Dean Mark came forward and gave me the bandage and certification as soon as I took a step down the stage.

It opened suddenly, the magic vortex with a sharp light, and I couldn't see anything. But the Hand came to my arm, taking it back, and I saw Colton, Hudson, and Xavier right next to Maggie and me rushing towards me. The light went off, and a loud gasp came in unison from the crowd, and I saw Eva's paler body lying on the floor.

"What is happening?" I muttered, and Dean rushed to Eva's side. I couldn't breathe, seeing her body so battered and hardly recognizable.
