A few days passed as Colton gave burial to Maggie and Dan and put Lily to rest for trying to kill him. Hudson had put Jase in interrogation to give her a chance at freedom, but she was dead set on killing Hudson if she was freed; he had no choice but to put Jase's sentence to death.

Mor's child in her womb belonged to some Gargoyle noble, and because of that, Mor couldn't be put to death and had to stay in a cell until she gave birth to the child. After that, the child would be taken from her, and then she would stand in a trial.

Xavier sat in sadness as I offered a coffee. "What is wrong," I asked.

"You know Aria, I was happy that child in Mor's womb was mine but learning it's not…I… feel," Xavier said.

"Hey, I am sorry" I hugged him, and he stood in an embrace for a couple more seconds; I knew he needed to console for the sad news he had to endure.
