The Meet-Up

She couldn't understand what was going on but she hurried out of the bloody pond suddenly remembering Emma. She started to swim all the way up to the surface of the pond and the moment she got to the surface her body transformed back to normal. Being surprised every now and again, she didn't even wait to get surprised this time. She swam to the heart of the pond in a hurry and climbed up the rock at the middle. Once she was done she took the golden container and got some water into it. The water was icy cold making her hands shiver from the droplets of water which sprayed on to her hands. She got back into the bloody pond and carefully swam in the direction she came, not daring to spill the water. She got out of the pond. Her whole body and clothes were soaked in blood. She walked towards the direction where Emma was lying unconcious. The ghostly hollows of the silent night hugged her as she rushed her walk. But when she reached the spot there was no one in there. She ran to the place where she saw Emma lastly and called her name. But she wasn't there. After a couple of minutes she heard a familiar voice from behind her. "Oh finally. Here you are." Kett turned herself to meet her best friend, Emma Dankworth. The moment Emma's gentle eyes met with hers, Kett felt her heart warming and cooling down at the same time. She wanted to hug her so badly. Knowing that her shy friend will never make it happen She took the move. She stared at her pretty friend for a couple of minutes before pulling her into a deep hug. She burst into tears as the hug tightened between them. Everything that happened to her after meeting Emma the last time came into her head in a flash. After all this time there she was finally getting some comfort from someone she loved. She wanted to weep on to her shoulder but she resisted, hiding her tears as usual because tears always succeeded in making her nervous. She dropped a heavy sigh while she broke the hug and finally looked back at her friend. "That was a long hug eh-?" Emma said smiling. "I told you, I was a good hugger." "Oh yeah. I could see that." Emma moved away and sat on a piece of a log and also directioned Kett to sit beside her. Kett obediently sat next to her and spoke up. "So? How did you wake up?" "Wake up in the morning, you mean?" Emma replied, looking confused. "No. I mean how did you wake up? You were lying on the floor unconscious some time ago." "Me? Unconscious? How come?"
