'Don't turn. This is pointless, Ami.'
'I don't believe you, you don't know all my strengths,' I whispered, breathing heavily with fright.
My ribcage began to move up and down faster. It seemed that in this room you could only hear my rapid breathing. I stumbled back, but when I rested against the wall, I realized that I had nowhere to retreat. The guy came too close to me, he smiled and I swear, I think I saw his dimples.
'I seem to be hallucinating again. Pay no attention to it, Amelia.' I closed my eyes and began to assure myself that when I opened them, this guy would no longer be here.
'Can an illusion touch you like that?' I sharply opened my eyes when the guy ran his hand over my leg, rising higher, lifting the towel up.
I quickly took his hand away.
'Don't touch me,' I tried to push him as far as possible, but nothing came of it.
