Chapter 27

On behalf of Amelia:

I slid down the cold wall, grabbing my head with my hands and closing my eyes tightly. Only a few days passed here, and in the end nothing was found. I haven't found anything. No evidence, no clues, no ball. Nothing. Absolutely.

The sun disappeared, giving another queen, the moon, the power to rule the night. I glanced at my watch. It is now 23:00. The hands on the clock were running very fast. I'm lost in the count of days. I got to my feet and walked out of the Virginia estate. Walking slowly along the empty street, I kicked a small pebble in front of me. Whoever it was, the trap worked. I hope the person who started this is happy. A cold breeze blew, and I shrank slightly from the cold, rubbing myself with my hands.

'Guys, please. Find me,' I whispered, hoping that they could somehow read my mind.
