I Got A Story To Tell Volume 2, Part Six: Spiderman Sucks[2].

An alien.

A blue haired girl with a bad nerve.

A woman who seems done with her actual life.

A boy in his fifteen who loves nachos.

As I swung into their basement, I noticed four things.

The boy in his fifteen and the girl with the bad nerve reacted first as they both were looking in my direction already.

When I landed, the woman reacted and then at last, the alien.

"Where is the bastard who killed Steve...I mean, Dr. Steve?"

The boy in his fifteen glared at me for a few seconds before losing interest.

The woman puffs a sigh as she stares at me.

The alien heads to my side with no malicious intentions and talks with me.

The blue haired girl follows behind as she doesn't feel it.

But as I do not hear a response, I feel like I trespassed a territory.

I spit out a lie to see if they gonn' move or something.

And the alien is the first to react to the provocation.

"...You are an Avengers, right? Spider-Man, if I recall. I'm Verin, the alien you so love to call. Yeah--I can read minds. The girl with the bad temper as you've noticed is Izabel. The strongest out of all of us. The woman, there, is my sister and faithful buddy. At the far back is our chief, Lune. Go say hi.."

Go say hi...?

The chief?

How come?

"I'm eating, so, I'll be brief, shitface. You and your spider-gang better go back where you came from. I won't repeat myself.."

Okay.

He is indeed the boss.

He has the eyes of a killer.

I wonder what was this past exactly to have ended like this.

"My gang is just kids I wish to protect. I came here because I need help. Someone wants to kill me. And in case I die, I beg of you to take care of these kids."

I hoped he would accept.

I hoped he would say yes.

I hoped it would be the good one.

But then, he declined.
