Love is knowing when to let go.

ASHER

"Hello excuse me" I called to a nurse passing by "what happened to the patient in this room?"

"Oh, she has been discharged." My brows furrowed.

"She was already better?"

"No actually, her guardian insisted on taking her away."

"I'm sorry but do you know who-"

"I think it was her sister."

Why would Isabelle forcefully get her sister discharged? It wasn't even her uncle or aunt but Isabelle? "Thank you."

Turning around I walked away, heading to her apartment to ask her what the hell she was thinking. I was at the entrance of the hospital when I saw a familiar face.

"Mr. Quing," he said.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to see Isabelle, there was something I needed to know. I didn't expect her to already be gone."

"Gone? Gone where?"

His eyes widened for the briefest moment before his face fell expressionless again. "Tell me, where did she go? She even took her sick sister."
