Chapter 34

Wisdom’s POV

God, the beach is so beautiful.

I never felt so tear-eyed just because of the sight of a sea.

“It’s lovely, isn’t it?”

“It’s so calming,” I smiled at him. Denver inhaled the smell of the salty air.

“And huge,” he added. “I often get lost here because I sometimes forget where the stairs are and where the door is.” His giggle just made me grin, made me forget all the obstacles that we managed to pass through. I blinked, not believing that this finally came true. All those dreams, all those tears, all those wishes…everything is worth it—had played a part to me and Denver’s union.

“Denver…”

“Yes?”

“Let’s have a drink,” I offered.
