She ran her hand on the pictures
Who is this?, Why is he gathering this woman’s picture?, Who is she to him?. She was about to unpin one of the pictures when a growl stopped her. She turned and came face to face with the devil.

He turned and she walked up to him
“How are you feeling”
“Fine, good”
“I was worried about you, I’ve been worried about you since the day you’ve been cursed”
“I’m fine Adarna”
“I’m not leaving your side again”
“You need protection”
“My parents has done that for five years, I’m done hiding and Sven's rumor about you killing me needs to stop”
“I don’t care”
“You never care”

“You are going to be the queen of the crescent clan once you finish your vows with Vian”

“He’s the strongest Alpha of our time and dangerous”
“I can handle it, mother'
“I know you can, you’re your father’s daughter”
She smiled
“What if his real mate arises”
“Mother, everything is under control”
She fired an arrow at the animal and it fell. She walked up to it “good catch” she tells herself
“Elrani” a voice shouted
“Oh oh”
She grabbed her game and ran as fast as her leg can carry her to the village

“Oh great heavens. Elrani, you will not be my death”
She smiled at her mother
“Hey Rani”
“Hi Rani”
“Hi guys”
She ran to them
“We going hunting tomorrow”
“Count me in, I love hunting and killing those Rogues”
“You’re the fastest and bravest wolf here, we know your worth”
She smiled
“I got an invitation”
“To where, Arla”
“The castle”
Elrani could feel the shiver that ran down the people’s spine at the mention of 'CASTLE'
She grabbed Arla and Mateo hands and dragged them into the woods.
“Are you crazy, we’re all safe because we are not in the world of the crazy alpha who kills for fun”
“I heard he’s cursed” Mateo says
“Me too, we all know that he killed his mother”
“No one has confirmed that, Mateo”
“Then, where’s Queen mother” Arla says
“Shush it you two. No one is going to the Castle, understood”
They nodded
“Am I getting an ok, we won’t”
“Ok, we won’t”

That night
Azra was lifted into the air
“Vian, Vian, Vian”
He growled and his eyes turned dark as he shifted into his animal form (vicenzo).
People felt the wave of his death aura and everyone shivered cause they know that someone would die but who….
The white fur began to change to black as he stepped out of the room, into the passage
“kill Vian, kill a soul Vian, let your cursed blood ruin your soul”
Sven, Vian's younger brother became possessed with Azra's spirit as she uses him to puppet Vian. She will destroy Crescent, she will take down the wolf clan and claim the victory of the witches.
Elrani sat on a stone and brought out her flute to clean it
“Play for us, Rani”
“I don’t like playing it at night”
“Common Rani, please”
She smiled at the children
“Ok, I’ll play it just this once”
They nodded and quickly sat down
She brought it to her lips and played the tunes
Azra felt the new magic and her spirit left Sven's body, he fell to the ground.
Who is doing that?, Who has done that?
His eyes changed back to blue and Vicenzo fell to the ground, right in front of Adarna’s room. She opened the door and saw him
“Vicenzo”
She ran to the wolf and it changed back to Vian.
Azra used the wind to throw away all her magical books in anger
“Who was that?, Who had the power to gain control over him. I have cursed Vian, I have cursed Vian through Sven that he would never be the same. He would be an animal, a human animal.”
She stopped
“Mate, mate, mate, Vian’s female. She’s out there, the curse didn’t affect her, she’s reached out to him”
She screamed and the birds flew
“I will destroy them all, I will destroy them all”
The next day
Mohokan
“you have a lot of responsibility my dear”
“Yes father, Vian needs me. We’ve been together since childhood but now that we back together, I need to be there for him”
“you have a clan too, Adarna”
“Father, Iago can take over this clan and my joining Vian will help strengthen our clan”
“He’s dangerous”
“dad, we grew up together and you all took me from him”
“We protected you from his demonic behavior, he’s not the Vian we all used to know”
“My Vian is in there and he’s not a demon, dad. The wolf elders chose me to be his mate, Vian has been destined not to have one”

The man sighs

Vian stared at the picture of his mother (Queen Elrani)

She slapped him

Her wolf took control and grabbed his hand

She stabbed herself with his wolf nails and he gasp

“you have a mate Lervian, your destiny soothsayer was wrong, she’s your healing virtue” she says before breathing her last breath
Her hand released his

He turned to see Sven, hatred burned in his eyes

“No, no, leave my head, leave me alone” he screamed and banged his hand on the wall, it cracked

“Elrani”
She turned
“Sven, give me minute”
Azra appeared and saw the flute

She whispered into Sven’s ear
“She’s Vian’s mate”

“Yessss, she will set him free. If you don’t kill her, she will not allow you to take your revenge on Vian for killing your mother”

“Kill her”
“Not yet, Vian will do that with his own hands”
“We’ll take her to him”

She smiled and vanished
“Sven” she ran to him “sorry for keeping you waiting” she kissed him
“They don’t like me”
“you’re the Alpha king's brother”

“Not all, never mind. Common, let’s go to our usual spot”
He nodded and they went there

They sat on the grass
After a while of staring ahead, Sven broke the silence
“He’s a monster, the way he murders his own people, so cruel”
She sighs
“He doesn’t care about how he’s made people cry, how he’s shortened lives”
Sven began to shed fake tears
“It hurts me that I can’t do anything about it”
“What about alpha mother”
“My grandmother isn’t bothered about his behavior, she doesn’t see the faults”
“He’s still your brother, no matter how bad things are, you need to draw him close”
He sniffs and looked at her
“Why are you so nice Elrani?, because of him, you lost your siblings”
She smiled
“Hatred doesn’t solve anything, it only destroys. I’ve only heard, he’s never been cruel to me”
“because you’ve not met him, you’ve not seen Lervian, he’s an animal”
“We all animals”
“He’s different, he’s a total animal. He doesn’t have human feelings”
“He’s going to be joined with the princess, he’ll learn to love”
He scoffs
It’s so hard to penetrate into her head

Sven rises

That night
Elrani yawns as she sits up. She noticed that Mateo and Arla's bed was empty

She got up and packed a few things and it was a go
The old woman entered the room
“Lervian”
The chair turned
“Alpha mother”
“Are you ready for the night”
“I don’t want it” he says releasing his bad aura but it didn’t move her
“you will go out there”
He looked at her
“Why” that authoritative voice asked “So that I will see how they’ve hanged the monster banner on their foreheads, how much they hate me”
She hits her staff on the ground
“You’re still the Alpha king and they can only talk, they cannot question you”
He chuckled
“I kill my own people grandmother, I enjoy seeing their bloods flowing like a river and you see that as the work of a normal being. It’s night, grandmother, I will soon turn the tide. I'm an animal in human flesh”
“You will rise and go out there with Adarna and right in front of everyone, you two will exchange the honor cup and drink”

“Do it for Adarna, she deserves it”
He gave a low growl but she heard and he stood up

He leaves the room and the old lady sighs

“is she coming” the voice whispered
“No, she said she wouldn’t”

“I dragged the mind of her friends here and woke her up”

The witch vanished
“Where are they headed to, where have they..” it clicked “the castle”
The word rang an alarm in her ear and she gasp
“They promised. What am I going to do now?”
She picked up her pace and ran as fast as her legs could carry her

“Wow, I thought the castle will look haunted” Arla says
“It’s marvelous”
“Elrani will be so mad”
“She’s a deep sleeper, Mateo. She can’t know”
“look, it’s only for the rich and expensive. We not like that”
“Arla, Mateo”
They turned to see Sven
“What are you two doing here”
“We leaving” Mateo said
“We here for the party, prince Sven”
“Common, I’ll fit you in”
“No, thank you. Elrani will be so worried' Mateo said
“We will stay, right Mateo?”
Sven stared into his eyes
“Will you stay Mateo?”
“No”
Sven was taken aback
“Common Mateo”
He sighs
“For an hour”

Sven led them away
Sven was puzzled, his magic didn’t work on Mateo. Why was that?. He couldn’t get an answer to that.
Elrani stopped. She could see the castle from where she is, different from what she had believed it to be. She walked on and stopped when she got to it’s front.
“Wow, magnificent”
“she’s here”
The voice whispered to him
“Raja”
A man walked up to him
“They are my guest, make them feel at home”
“Yes my prince”

They followed him
They both took a wine golden glass from the table
“we are all here to witness the exchange of honors between the king and his chosen mate”
Rumors and whispers erupted but immediately he turned to look at the crowd. It was awarded 'The most quiet place of the year’
“princess Adarna Serrano, please stretch out your cup”
She did and a maid came close to pour the wine
“you may” Adarna says
The maid came close and began to pour the wine
“This wine signifies my convenant to you Lervian Vicenzo Altamira”
He did the same and they exchanged cups
“You may drink your convenant”
He was about to drink it when a strong wind blew it from his hands.
“Other half” Vicenzo says in his head and he looked at the crowd. They all moved back.
Adarna looked at him and he looked back
“Lervian has a mate?” Alpha mother asked herself cause she was as puzzled as everyone else. How come that’s one vision about him that wasn’t revealed to her and his mother.
Lervian looked at her and by her expression, he knew that she didn’t know either. He left the hall
“Lervian” Adarna shouted
“He’s coming” the voice whispered to him
“Elrani”
“Yes”
“Can you wait here for a moment. I need to get something”
“I know no where here”
“I’ll be back, just don’t leave” she sighs
“Ok”
He walked away and smiled
He mustn’t meet her, he mustn’t know her. She mustn’t see him. Vicenzo felt her closeness but Lervian kept on walking. Vicenzo tried to draw him back but he didn’t succumb.
Elrani paces
Where is he?. She felt a presence at her back and the aura made her still.
Now, staring at the lady whose back was turned to him sent shivers down his spine. For the first time, fear ran through his veins.
She turned and came face to face with him. Her wolf leaped with curiosity, not happiness or fear. Alena has always learn to observe before bringing out a true emotion.
“Other half” they both chorused
He clenched his fist and his anger swept the palace. She could hear cracking of bones
What is happening?, Where is Sven?.
He began to walk slowly towards her as his human body began to take a new shape but she didn’t move, not even an inch. She wasn’t scared of the human that is changing into another thing. She took out her flute instead and watched him for a while before playing it.
He screamed and his body began to break but she didn’t stop. He looked like he was going to kill her but she didn’t stop.
Wolf elders and Adarna came into the sacred passage
“Lervian”
They held Adarna back as they watched his body deform as it goes down to the floor and gradually began to come together as one. When it was done, those sea blue eyes stared at her own dark eye color and she could read pain in them before they closed.
She stopped and stared at him. Adarna ran to him
“Lervian, Lervian”
She looked at Elrani
“Guards, take this thing out of my castle”
“Yes princess”
They went to Rani
“It’s fine, I can walk”
Where is Sven?
“Wait”
They stopped and turned
Adarna walked up to them
“Who are you?, what are you doing here in the sacred passage”
“I am Elrani, my princess”
“How did you get here”
“Prince Sven brought me
“Sven”
Guards came in with Arla and Mateo
“Sven” Elrani called and they all looked at him
“Throw them out of my father’s palace” he says
“She should be punished. Don’t you know that only the Alpha king is entitled to be here no one comes here only if it was necessary”
“I didn’t know princess, prince Sven brought me here”
“Liar”
She was astonished
“Take her and give her 20lashes before sending them away”
“Yes my princess”
They took her and her friends away
Adarna turned to Sven
“Why would you bring her to the sacred passage”
He gives her the kill look
“I don’t answer to you, Adarna”
“I am your brother’s wife”
“You aren’t and last I checked, his mate is near and you’ve been rejected”
“No one said that”
“lips doesn’t need to move before you know your stand here”
“Shut up Sven, you are jealous of your brother”
“I wish I was but I’m not. I hate him so much and I care less if he dies”
“Your brother needs us. He deforms at night, he’s been tormented”
“Do I care?, Let the goddess come and save him, herself. You don’t belong to crescent, go back to Mohokan”
He walked away without looking back
