Chapter 3

"Mom, Dad,can I talk to you for a sec?" I ask sitting at the table for breakfast, they both looked at me "what is it sweety?" Mom asks already panicking "please don't get mad" "we won't, what is it?", I told them about Kace,my dad was stuck with his coffee at his lips while mom was trying to process everything,"fake?" Mom asks "for his mom?" Dad asks "yeah,please don't get mad" I begged "we're not,just shocked,are you okay with it?" "I'm okay with it,I'm doing it for his mom,that's all that matters,after that,it's over" "oh,okay, as long as it doesn't pressure you out" "I know, thanks you guys" "yeah".

Drake buzzed in my ear,"what?" I ask miserably "Harry and I had a fight last night" he says softly,I looked at him "why?" I ask "he thinks I'm cheating on him" "that's stupid, you love him" "yeah,I don't wanna lose him Hayles"his eyes watered and mine softened at my best friend's state,his boyfriend was in college, the two make the cutest couple but Harry is so stupid,"hey,I'll talk to him for you" "don't bother" he spat sniffing "what?, why?" "I saw him tonging some blonde guy this morning", I felt bad for him "want a cupcake?" I ask "yes please", I smile giving him a cupcake, my mom bakes them for me so I get about five each day, Drake never allows me to eat all five alone,I hope Harry doesn't break up with him.

"Hey" Kace says sitting next to me "hi?" I ask "you know a girlfriend should be nice to her boyfriend" Kace says and I shrugged in response "not my problem" I answer "unbelievable" "like your STD?" "hey, that's mean babe, really" "so you do have an STD?,is it Aids?" "no" "HIV,how about-" "I don't have one Hayley,geez!", I shrunk,"could've been nicer about it" "how about you be yourself?" "you don't want that Hayley,trust me" "I do, I bet she's nicer than this Hayley" "pft,shut up".

Drake's phone vibrated in his pocket,he ignored,"just answer him Drake" I say and he rolls his eyes not paying his phone any mind,I sigh getting it,"hey Harry" "Hayley,hey,can you tell him I'm sorry, I was stupid" "he's not talking to you for a reason Harry,you can't just say you're sorry,you have to show him you love him" "I know but he's been avoiding me,just talk to him for me" "I'll try". I hung up looking at Drake,"come on,just talk to him,he sounds really sorry" "good,that's his problem", I can't really force him till he's calmed down about it.

Klara smiles "hey Klara" I wave "hey Hayley", Kace looked at his mom "mom?" "what?, I see you everyday boy, shut up", I snort before kissing his cheek "don't worry, I missed you for the whole day" "awe,I missed you too baby",I think I'm gonna be sick,"you two are so cute together, I need a rag" Klara says wiping her eyes then walking away,okay,this is too much, "come on" Kace says pulling me behind him,I huffed following. His room was unbelievably neat, for a jerk like him,his room is clean, "nice room,who cleans it?" I ask "me" he answers "yeah,for real who?" "me,will you stop being so mean to me" "you're mean to people,now you get a bully", he reached out to grab me but I moved, almost falling, Kace pulled me up quickly,he lost his balance and we both fell on his bed,not how I wanted my day to end,"you should've just let me fall" I mutter looking up at his gray eyes,his eyes looked wild, "mom would break my neck for you, you're crazy" he answers looking down at me,I roll my eyes "get off me","Jay?", he kissed me, it took every strength in my body to kiss him back because if his mom wasn't coming, I'd have punched him, "oh" Klara says and we look at her "sorry,I heard something hit somewhere", yeah,my foot hit the bed and I'm gonna hit your son,"oh,we were just playing" I smile sweetly, she smiles "okay, I'll be downstairs" "okay", she closed the door and I shoved Kace to the floor,"jerk" "you liked it" "yeah right,I can't believe you did that" "its done already,be nice to the guy that got your first kiss", I threw a pillow at him and he laughs getting up.

Kace is such a jerk, he's crazy and has so many girls,he's bound to get an STD or a few. Drake and I walked out of the school to his car,a jeep pulled up that we both knew all too well,Harry got out with a hard look,the muscular boy looking at both of us,Drake didn't even look at him,"we need to talk" Harry says "no we don't" "Drake just go,I'll walk home" "but-" "go,I'll be fine", he sighs "fine", Harry got in his own car and Drake got in his, both of them leaving, one after the other,they both loved each other a lot, but things aren't working out perfectly at the moment, Harry thinks Drake's cheating and Drake knows Harry's cheating, but being the hard headed guy he is, ignores it.

A hand slipped around my waist,I look up at Kace in annoyance "don't touch me" I snap and he smirks "why not babe?" "Kace,please refrain from calling me that on school grounds" "but its fun", I shove away from him and walked away,I'm starting to get fed up by this relationship thing, although its fake, I'm rethinking it. "Hey,I was thinking?" "Kace,in your cupboard, thinking means nothing, to normal people, its going deep in thought,so please" "dude?" "Kace?", he rolls his eyes "do you wanna grab something to eat?" Kace asks "with you?" I ask "yes and Josh and Ashley" "hmm,okay". "So how's it going so far?" Josh asks scanning his menu, I shrugged "my mom already replaced me" Kace mumbles glaring at me "hey,you said she'd love me" "yeah,the sweet and innocent you,not this mean girl" "shut up and be nice boy,you got yourself into this" Ashley points at him and I laughed "yeah,be nice".

The girl kept looking at Kace, who's lost in his phone, "gonna do something about it?" Ashley asks "Kace?" I call,he looks at me "yeah?" "have you always had those golden flexes in your eyes?" I ask flirting with him, his eyebrows knitted together, "I guess,why?" "just asking, thought it was just something in your eye", he smiles and I use my index finger to call him closer, he leans closer "I'll be nice to you if that girl stops staring" I whisper on his lips,he glanced at her "jealous?" "hardly,in your dreams",he smiles caressing my cheek with his thumb "you know you're catching feelings for me Hayles" "in what universe?", I looked into his eyes, this is way beyond everything I agreed to,Kace chuckles lowly biting my bottom lip, Drake is gonna kill me "she's gone" Ashley says and we move apart, "wow,you two actually looked like a cute couple" Josh comments "like I'd ever date this jerk" "and you're still mean, wow".
