"Nice try!! You almost got it." Netero told them as he balance the ball on his left forefinger.

Killua stood up and looked back at the place Netero stood before and saw a destroyed floor. He narrowed his eyes in anger before calming himself. "That's it for me, I give up. I lost." He went back to the side and pickup his clothes while he himself was dripping in sweat.

"Me too. I give up." Silver raised his hand while still laying on the floor.

"Why? We still have time! And we almost got it earlier." Argued Gon while breathing hard.

"You didn't get it? He havent even used his left leg and Silver barely forced him to use the right hand with his surprise weapon. Amd now that he knows about it, I doubt he would let his guard down again." Killua explained.

"Oh hoh. I've been had. And here I thought I hid it so well." Laughed Netero. "But maybe you till have a chance if one of you tries his best." Added Netero while he took a glance at Silver laying on his back.

"Arrrrghhh... That old man is getting on my nerves. Let's go Gon and Silver!" Killua beckoned at them.

"I'm gonna stay here a little more time." Gon declined.

"Did you just listen to anything I just said?" Killua shouted at Gon while continously poking Gon's hard head.

"Uhuh." Gon nodded. "But I don't care of the balls anymore. We've still got time left, now I'd like to force him use his left leg."

"Uh!" Killua paused and sighed. "Ok, good luck. How about you Silver? Are you going wirh his lunacy too?"

"No, but I'll stay here to make sure the old man doesn't try anything perverted on Gon." Silver answered while waving good bye.

Gon and Netero started their cat and mouse chase again while Silver sat in meditative stance. He has finally completed all nodes around his body and felt strength coursing through his body. He felt like at least twice as strong or even more than he was before. He could even tell that he could produce more aura output than ever. He then used Ren and released his Aura.

Netero was being chased by Gon when Gon launched his head on his stomach. 'That gotta hurt.' Thought Netero, then he saw Gon go for another headbutt. 'Oh no, if he does it again he might break his skull. I can't losen my muscle or I will be the one taking the fall.' Then Netero suddenly felt the disturbance and was caught a little off guard. 'This level of strenght in such a young man. Hoh hoh hoh.'

Gon saw the change in concentration of Netero and caught him in a tackle and pushed him out of balance. While they are midair falling, Gon wrapped his legs around Netero's right leg.

'He wrapped his leg on mine. If I forced it I might dislocate or worse break his legs.' Thought Netero as he held the ball on his left hand. Netero then positioned his right hand to do a flip when Silver came in fast, much faster than before and aimed at the ball he is holding on his left hand. He then switch it over to his right when web started hitting him and enclosing him in a cocoon, freeing the ball.

'This again!' Netero thought as Silver closed in fast on the ball. Silver again activated his future sight to see what the president have something else in store.

He saw the president breaking out of the coocon in sheer strength but he knew he would get the ball first before it happens. "Too late!" Shouted Silver as he reached out on the ball. "Got i-". *bang* *bang* Silver was again thrown face first on the wall, followed by Gon who was thrown to the opposite side of the wall by Netero.

'What was that?' Thought Silver as he looked back at Netero standing still in two feet at the center.

Then he heard Gon shouted in Victory while on his knees. "We did it! We forced Netero used his left leg!" He grinned wide and suddenly lumped on the floor and snored.

Silver then looked at Netero and asked. "How did you launched me away? I knew I should have gotten the ball before you could catch it."

"Well, I kicked you with this." Netero looked down and tapped his left leg.

"You did?" Silver couldn't believe what he heard. He tried to remember what happened. He remembered Netero breaking the cocoon with his future sight, but he didn't see a leg kicking. He didn't even see the kick coming. 'Could it be? He was too fast my eyes couldn't tell his future action.'

"Arrghhh... This is a scam! I knew we shouldn't trust old man with hard to believe offers like you." Silver pointed at Netero with accusing manner.

"Hoh hoh hoh." Netero avoided the accusation with a laugh. "Where did you learn Nen?" Asked Netero. "It is not distributed to the public, and with such mastery I doubt you learned it on your own."

"Tsk... Can't really hide anything from the president. I learned it from big sis Lara." Silver admitted. 'And Bisky too!'

"Oh hoh... The missing young Croft, is it?" Netero looked at Silver with a knowing look. He then smiled and let it go. "Well with your strength, I expect you to reach the final stage."

"Not only will I reach it, I'm gonna pass it! And you better believe it!" Silver added in uncharacteristic manner with a fist and a thumbs up while smilling wide, showing his white teeth.

"Oh hoh hoh. Well then. You should take the rest of the night to sleep. Tomorrow will be a new challenge." The president then walked to a telephone, called and asked the pilot to slow down their flight. After that he left the two.

The group landed, on a large and tall cylindrical tower with nothing but flat surface on the roof.

Mr. beans stood at the front of the gathered contestants and started. "You are here at the shrewdness tower. It's here that the third trial round shall take place. Concerning the trial itself, here are the Jury's orsers." Mr. Beans explained as he raise the condition. "Within 72 hour time period, you'll need to get to the bottom of this tower, alive of course." After that he rode the airship and left the area.

"Now how do we go about this?" Asked Leorio as the group of four looked down the edge of the roof.

"There are no windows on the side, decending along the walls is surely suicide." Added Kurapika.

"For you ordinary guys, yes." Says a bulky man as he started decending the wall carefully. "For mountain climbers like me with strong grips, it is barely an inconvenience." The man then continued descending.

"Woah! He managed to get down that far in such a short time." Gon said in amazement while looking down. "Ahh!" Gon called out.

"What?" Killua asked while Silver looked at the skyline.

"Look!" Gon poonted as multiple shadows started approaching the tower.

After 30 seconds, a humongous bird like creature flew towards the decending man on the wall and started attacking the man.

"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh~~~" Cried the man.

"I don't think going down the wall is a good idea." Remarked Leorio.

"..." Silver

"There must be another way down." Commented Kurapika as he observed the decreasing number of participants on the roof. "There only 18 left from the original 40. I can't really think they all discreetly used the same way to get down. So there must be several hidden doors!"

"Leorio! Kurapika! Silver!" Called Gon as he beckoned for the three.

"We found a way to go down. But we're hesitating."

"Huh? How can you hesitate?" Questioned Leorio.

"Well, there are multiple entrance and we're not sure which one to take." Finished Gon.

"It seems the first candidates have arrived. You can all go to you designations." Announced a man with big round glasses and spiky black hair while looking at the rows of hooded men in shackles.

"Here and there... and another three over there." Pointed Gon.

"Five doors in total. Each one close to the others... I got a bad feeling about this." Commented Leorio.

"There are probably some that are traps." Added Kurapika.

"More it seems the trap door system only functions one time." Says Gon.

"In fact, the passing by is done one by one. That means each one has to go through different trap door. After that the door locks itself and can no longer be used by others." Explained Killua. "Gon and I have decided, to each pass through one of these doors."

"Even if it's a trap, no regrets." Smiled Gon.

"If you're ok, then I'm ok too." Agreed Leorio.

"Guess there are no other choice then. How about you, Silver? You've been quiet for some time now." Kurapika asked.
