CHAPTER 285: NEW TRAINING

Gideon managed to convince the Patriarch to have him exempted from the ongoing war. When he asked why, Gideon just told him the truth that he was going to be undergoing a form of training and his strenght would be severely limited in the future as such.

The Patriarch seemed to have an idea of what he was talking about and agreed, and with that, Gideon was no longer required in the war effort. Though Ivan didn't seem too happy about it. Gideon understood.

Among his rank, he was an important asset, and he suspected Ivan kept track of his recovery because he wanted him to join the war effort. He didn't really feel bad though, in his mind he believed that his friends would be able to deal with it on their own. Though he was a little depressed that they were going and he stayed by himself, but h knew that if he joined the war when he carried out the training, then he might die very quickly.
